Weekly poll results: Honor 80 Pro and Magic Vs well liked, Honor 80 and 80 SE get the cold shoulder

11 December 2022
The 80 Pro and Magic Vs will be the leaders of Honor's current generation. The Honor 80 is not a very good replacement for the Honor 70, though.

It's more practical and gives better flexibility than my old foldable phone. Unlike foldable phones where I have to carry the extra hefty weight all the time, I don't have to do it with my V50. I just simply detach the case whenever I don't want to use it, and I'm good to go. It couldn't have been any simpler.

P.S. I did have a look at Microsoft Surface Duo/Duo 2. It does look interesting, but I don't see the need to own one for the time being.

Akinaro, 11 Dec 2022Until they fix issues with durability of the screen everyon... moreThat's an absolute lie. Unless you're Edward Scissorhands or you purposely apply unusual force with your finger, regular use does not dent the screen. There are a number of issues with the fold. It's all over reddit. Everyday. Every hour. Software and hardware. Dents in the screen are not one of them.

BTW, who's forcing you buy a fold that you feel the need to purposely damage someone else's phone to prove this point?

Akinaro, 11 Dec 2022Until they fix issues with durability of the screen everyon... moreIf glass was meant to fold we would all have folding windows in our houses by now. Ridiculous to think that something you open and close numerous times a day is going to last without breaking at some point. It's a nice idea having a phone and tablet in one but I just don't see the folding panels on any of these devices including the flip models lasting long.

Until they fix issues with durability of the screen everyone will skip foldable.
Especially when in every review no one actually even mention durability of screen as they afraid of damaging reviewed device(even you GSMArena).
Last time I had in my hand galaxy fold4 It was hilarious how easy is to make dent on screen with just opening it when you accidently touch it with nail, its like having a car that interior is made of cardboard... No one would buy or use it but here we have 1000$ phone that is like cardboard...
