Anonymous, 07 Dec 2022Wasn’t not-so-good drivers the main complaint of Dave2D? Wo... moreMain problem with Arc is that it doesn't support DX9 natively. It does it through Windows own emulation which is less than ideal. Good to see they are at least addressing the most popular DX9 titles. But if you're into playing older games, just buying Radeon would be a better option. It has been a while since I had Radeon card, but when I had it, I had very few if ever driver problems (not any more than with NVIDIA anyways), and cousin has RX580 and it's working pretty well as he hasn't really called me about it and I know for a fact that he's not updating drivers as religiously as I am. Arc is really only focused on new games and if that's your jam, it's ok I guess. But even then, AMD just has really good cards with way less driver problems that you can rely on.

Wasn’t not-so-good drivers the main complaint of Dave2D? Would be nice to see a follow up now with the current market situation as well.
