Its disheartening to see people argue saying wireless is there, but that still shouldn't pave way for at least offering 3.x over the ancient 2.0. Its extremely irritating when doing wired backups, or even transferring large files/ chunks of photos. Just because many people use wireless, doesnt mean the wired community is dead. Most of these Chinese OEMs are still sticking to USB 2.0 speeds, i doubt the cost is that high to certify. I was hoping for a changeover, since the sibling X90 Pro+ offers USB 3.x speeds, however i guess the wait will continue.

Guess the Pro is Chinaa exclusive. But the iQoo 11 is better priced in my country so not hoping much.

I'm buying a flagship phone at a flagship price.
Using the argument that no one uses it, is nuts! There are thousands of things in the phone that most people are never gonna use. Your phone comes with wifi 6, would you ever use the complete bandwidth on 9 gbps? No, right.. they should have given wifi 5 then.
USB 3.x makes sense because that lets me use my phone as a portable SSD, given that storages are so fast now (ufs 4 claims 2100 mBps). That is a freaking use-case.
If I want to connect my SSD that I bought so dearly.. I get 30 MBps.. that is not what I paid for.

They are making 6.78 inches bricks.not mobile phones.not comfortable at all to use.please make 6.3 or 6.4 inches screen mobiles .

Since first use of wireless tech in WW1 the wireless evolved a lot.
Jack been long time done.
Adding fourth ring to a jack 15 years ago was final upgrade. There is nothing where jack can move now but wireless audio have still tons of possible imrpovements.
Same goes for SD slots.
Now tablets can be bought with 2TB disk space soon phone will have 2-4 even more TB of disk space who would need a mechanical plastic easy to break card if a phone will have 2 or more TB of disk space???
Anyway cloud storage is way better option or using OTG and a External harddrive for big files like movies etc.
Card is just burden.
Costly gimmick which cannot be fixed when breaks your files are gone.

Besides SD cards can breaks and cant be fixed.
Wireless audio is long time better than wired one brand dependable.

Buying for 2 bucks waterpproof case from alliexpress will solve your problem.
Costly gimmicks which does not works just are reason for massive fines are not mandatory.
All of those so called IP68 rated phones were tested in water tank standing still try to swim with your phone in sea is dead. Try to swim with it in lake is dead.
Nowdays even a 100 eur phone can withstand few raindrops and only a very clumsy person would use his phone under a heavy rain.

And since most people transfer large files not very often maybe 1-2 times a year USB 2.0 is good enough.
When you have to transfer just few songs or photos the USB 2.0 will be equally fast to anything else because waiting 10 seconds with USB-C 3.2 or 11 seconds with USB 2.0 makes no difference.
I only wonder why you and many else compain about USB 2.0 if you dont plan to transfer large files eevry single day or at least twice a week.
