5.4" screen with 19.5:9 ratio or 4.6" screen with 16:9 ratio.

Google manage it along with Samsung. The issue isn't with Android, issue is with manufacturers using Android as there OS. Android is an OS not a manufacturer.

Can confirm, yesterday I've got the update (Europe, Hungary). Great phone btw, but still need to get use to it (only a week I have this). Switching from Xiaomi 9t pro, which I still love, despite the fact it was always too large for my hand.
