most phones have preinstalled apps including pixel and apple, apple got like 50 preinstalled apps (its getting more than before in past) that some people can say those bloatware while some other dont

for pixel, preinstalled like : Pixel Tips, Playground, Pixel Live Wallpaper, Pixel Buds, Google Play Movies/TV, Google Play Services for AR, etc. some can say those bloatware too.

then there also provider preinstalled apps, like those verizon companion apps

so aside you root with stock basic android, most likely all phone have some sort of bloatware, it just how worse compared to other phones

for me personally current samsung phone is not that bad, which i mean it not many more "bloatware" to other "clean" phone

                Connect to a country where good lock is available
                You should be able to download it now and after you're done you can turn off the vpn

I used to be a hard core fan of Sony because I had a rooted Z and I had my own modified ROM. Also, when I used to bash Samsung for bloatware, they were still using TouchWiz which was a disaster speaking from a memory management point of view.
                      I still admire Sony for keeping the 3.5mm jack and the SD card slot on high-end flagships, unlike Samsung which kinda ruined the S line by downgrading the display, the RAM, the base storage, removing those 2 very important features (for me).
                      Right now I'm waiting for the Note 20 Ultra price to go down. It's STILL about 1100-1200 EUR in my country. Anything that is a high-end flagship without the SD card slot is instantly scratched off my buying list.
                      Now , Samsung is kinda forcing me to go back to Sony if I want a newer flagship.

                        Good lock or in other areas " fine lock " is of no use to me. Not a single app available was beneficial.

                        On the other hand i don't understand why Calculator, Screen recorder and voice recorder are not installed automatically but have to be separately sideloaded.
                        This is coming from a Note9.

                                    "I ❤️ Samsung DeX" feature definitely worth checking out. There are some Good Lock-specific feature that you can't have under One UI's Settings.

Also I own an A53 and the OneUI sucks ass. Phone that costs around 400€ that lags like hell. Full of bloatware and disgusting GUI (my opinion).

                                        Pixel on the other hand is fluid like nothing else (yes I am comparing 899€ phone with a 399€ I know but come on, differences shouldn't be this huge). Has timely updates (A53 recieving November update in a December) and will have for the rest of its life cycle.

                                        I bought myself a Pixel, since I liked its design (the Android 12 Monet design and phone itself looks good too). Since Android 12, I no longer think Pixels are bare bones. They have their own unique set of features - Song Searching, AOD is beautiful, wallpapers are nice too, not having weird duplicated apps from Microsoft and Google is also good with not having two appstores as well, an AI features like Magic Eraser and so on).
