      Motorola is giving 2 Android updates to the Edge 30 series and 3 years of security patch based on what I read online.
      Quite bad.

          Motorola need to use sony camera sensors

            We know Motorola is late in update and provide 1 or 2 major upgrade, but atleast they don't do bad tactics that reduce phone performance and leads consumer to move on new products

              SMRZ, 14 Dec 2022Who even uses Motorola anymore???!!!In some markets like the US where there are not many other Chinese phones, Motorola pretty much rules the low to mid-range markets, as there really not that much alternatives out there. In contrast, in countries with heavy Chinese presence like Oppo, Xiaomi, etc, Motorola is either non-existent or have left the market as they cannot compete.

The G100 already got an upgrade from 11 to 12, so that's about it. Devices that got 13 upgrade are mostly devices released with Android 12 out of the box.

I don't care much about OS updates too but giving only 2 years security updates for still capable models like the 2020 Moto G 5G Plus is severely limiting Motorola phones long term viability to many potential buyers.

                                  SMRZ, 14 Dec 2022Who even uses Motorola anymore???!!!In Mexico it is in the second lufae in sales, behind Apple, in Colombia it has a high market share, and some other countries, in Spain it is making its way, Lenovo just has to improve the update support, we already offer 4 years of updates , it is only to fully enforce said updates

                                      Motorola has the worst software support . You usually get one major update. Razr 5G owners barely got Android 12 last month. Not that I care. I hate updates and hate the design of Android 12 and up. It's not noticeable on Samsung since One UI is on top. It is similar to MIUI. You won't notice the design changes with a skin.

                                        Other countrys like Singapure, África (somewhere) and other esquise markets still buying moto for respect to the brand and i respect that too.

                                        The thing is: shipped doesnt mean sell, cause they are on warehouses taking dust. But Moto are selling some...yeah
