Great. All those "WhatsApp me" and "you get a prize" thing really irked me a lot. Even non-sponsored indie YouTubers aren't going away from it.

Good. I've been reporting all those Telegram scammers and the system seemed to be very slow at removing these.

There are also real people who act like bots. There use to be time when you got like a cookie for your account that will make you a bot also. I also can understand that this is something that wont happen to you and it be surprising that there are people who visit that site the way

To be honest, I am more concerned of those adds than you get while watching videos. Some of them are 100% scams and yet, they are still being played. Some are pyramidal schemes, others scam you by telling you to download an app with which you can make free money by listening to songs or by playing games on your phone. Those are the things regular people actually fall for and will click on them and install them. THOSE ARE VERY DANGEROUS!
As for the article's subject, if you are gullible enough to think that you've won something "from the comments section", I'm sorry to break it to you, but you shouldn't be allowed on the internet without proper supervision. I'm trying to be polite.

Still those bots is atrocious. It's like every major YouTube has like 1bot trying to give you free "gifts" for no reason. Don't even know how YouTube will deal with this. Seriously why scam using Telegram anyways? WhatsApp been taken?
