Punch hole or even drop notch is even better than the whatever humongous existent notch or the distracting island thingy on fruit phones having nowadays.
Also when your fruit company finally moving on to the punch hole or even full display screen (like previously done on some andro phones) you guys be like, mwah wah oh oohh ahh innovation.

The android chinese smartphones change over past year or I would say. I have EU-UK version so it is basically stock android just keeping Oppo look which is fine.. All manuf has their own. but that is only in settings or icons they all share pretty much same layout. same settings.. And EU version is basically google apps completely different from china version.
Recently got Android 13 update couple things redesigned. Happy with it camera very good I can see the pictures taken but I don't use camera like chinese every second and taking pictures of everything :D just only basic pictures what ppl mostly do take random occasion and you share them via wacap or social medias, that's it, no some kind of extraordinary shoots..🤷♂️🙂 And videos very rarely..
I had Huawei Mate 20 X 4g and 5G since 2019 and this year I have upgraded to this one.. I keep phone up to 5 years.. then I upgrade

This 'flagship' topic was discussed in recent poll. Yep in many cases ppl actually don't need one at least speaking of chipset speed, on the flipside they pack best camera and other particular specs that for certain users can't be found elsewhere. Ofc this word itself became a marketing figure as well. Gaming kids or ppl just go for as fast as possible.
The looks. I meant there's not much to do too (yeah lenses are circles, can't change... for now...) neither it be the most important on this kind of phone - as long as it's OK, it is OK. It's not for 6 months usage nor for kids to be too extravagant. So no bump this year, will come back later. Not ugly but alright to me.
Reno 8 Pro is a looker, I like :) OK specs, happy with software tho? or a custom... Agree there are always options to get a phone for acceptable price - instead of complain and bash brands for being pricy.
I'm currently happily midrange with 778G, miss nothing, would utilize better cameta only. Since they bring Snappy this time, I may have this S23. When the time and price is right though OFC.

So after all the phones looking the same at the front with the hole punch(where are the full screen displays that android fans were moking apple fans??),now even the back of the phone looks the same.
But hey, at least it will have the latest snapdragon, with better scores on benchmarks :D

notafanboy, 16 Dec 2022So you buy phones exclusively based on what they look like?... morenowadays common people buy the look and the brand since all the specs written on the sheet are not really different compare to last year same phone on the same category (flagship vs flagship, midrange vs midrange). 10% 20% improvement in raw power wont be really felt in common used in day to day usage unless you are playing heavy duty games which is not the case for everyone.

They think best phone must be ''flag ship'' to buy .. and there is nothing much better on them only pointless camera which they not even using so often.. But little boys won't buy flags because they don't have grand to spend..
And the problem is that these two pathetic constructive two words ''flag'' and ''ship'' delude peoples heads espec those non adult ones.. And when they hear from these websites ''mid range'' they totally ignores it and not interested. Yeah ppl buy extravagant design phones only. But 90% of population on earth love and like nice pretty looking things.
SO you doubting wrong about me. I pick always nice design BUT cheap and that is Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G and it has all new tech what flagship has and cost me only £350 because I know where to buy it .. only idiots buying phones from retail stores where price is sky high..
Dummy phones are near to official release.. Phone manuf. they don't change screens they are same black .. they change only back which is totally pointels as ppl will cover them with cases and never see back again..
Well how else you want camera lenses to be? star shape?? they will be always circle 🙂🤷♂️

These look so good!!! I bought the S22U originally because of the design of the camera lenses and if the whole S23 lineup is going to look like this I'll have a very hard time deciding which one to buy... I hope they make a cute commercial like they did with the S22U and the pet spider.
