Anonymous, 16 Dec 2022Back looks plastic, which is welcome 🎉🥂the dummy units are made from plastic, so its likely not gonna be plastic, and i hope its not. sure, it doesnt shatter and is easy to remove, but it feels awful to hold. its why i hated the galaxy note 20.

The S21 had a great design, plastic back as well, but idk why they discontinued it so soon. There is the S21 fe, but that's just too big. S21 was perfect. Also battery was bigger than S22

And I don't think that's the correct term to describe it, as anything can become generic when overused (the rectangular camera islands are arguably generic). Minimal is more fitting, and I appreciate this approach to minimize added bulk.

Then you can swap the plastic back for a new one if it gets scratched like others fear. Problem solved! The Galaxy S5 did it and it still had IP67 water resistance.

                      Imagine if they brought back the headphone jack. I mean, thickness wise it's completely possible. It would've changed the entire game if they did, but only a man could dream.

                      Also I just appreciate there's no big camera island.

                        Nice but to me. S8 is the most beautiful Samsung phone.

                              Kokuyo, 16 Dec 2022The best looking flagship from Samsung is the Galaxy S21 Ultra. My favorite is the Galaxy Note FE

                                Considering these will be the first Galaxies in Europe with flagship Snapdragon, that's pretty much their selling point alongside the Ultra getting 200MP. If y'all got the S22 series (heck, maybe even the S21 series), there's no reason to 'upgrade' seeing as even the S20 series is still being supported.
