My first Treo was the Treo 600. I also had the Treo 650, Treo 680 and I also had the Treo 750. They're excellent smartphones. But they evolve very slowly. Palm need to make their phones slim like the iphone, add a gps like the Nokia N series, a better camera like the Nokia N95 or the SE K850i, a faster processor and a display with better resolution. That will make the Palm Treo more attractive. I will buy one of those, yeeeeee!

Please ...pls ... get a life Treo. This treo stuff is a disaster!! Very very flimsy!! Fragile and screen scratched easily. I'm suprised why Treo still exist in the market !!! No backup service at all in any country! U dun have to believe me, just ask for service centre number and call them up before u buy it. U will be suprised of thier answer! No parts and totaly no service support other than sales that is. My advise ...dun get Treo at ALL. No trade-in value and totaly depreciate the moment u get it. Arrgghhhh... bulky, terible battery life span, NO further COMMENT other than "Forget it" !

Hari, 17 Aug 2008I guess this a cool design ...could have been a bit thinner... moreHari,
If its built anything like the Treo 800w it isn't flimsy, but only time will tell.

[deleted post]i think this model will be the best windows product in the market soon and could you pls tell me are you from any palm's rival company. you idiot can't you see this is so wonderful product, i agree with your point that this product has only 2 MP Camera but who need more than this. i haven't seen any business class person taking a picture with his mobile phone instead of digital camera.

I guess this a cool design ...could have been a bit thinner and yes the glossy finish makes it look flimpsy....should be having a matty sturdy finish.

too bad this thing doesn't support video-conference.
btw, i doubt this Palm will sell well because there's plenty of Windows mobile device with better specs out there.

True it depends, but not everyone wants TouchFlo, and the overhead it needs to run well. All I really like is the HTC Home screen and even that I can live without. I have to give Palm credit, I'm seeing some decent stuff from them. The Treo 800w on the CDMA side is real nice, fast and snappy. Screen looks good and seems solid in build over all. In any case, like it or not, choice is a good thing.

Has palm come out with new heavy hitter? You has to compare this model with other such nokia e series and htc phones.

hmmm... nice phone. such a compact one with windows mobile OS. If only they could use a little less of the glossyness and perhaps more matte. Also, it would really help if they made the phone more EDGY. It's too round, reminds me of soap. Edges would greatly contrast with the all too round buttons of the phone. Featureswise, same with all current windows mobile phones. the price will be the deciding factor.

Adele Wolverhampton, 15 Aug 2008Im a business woman but this phone wont be appearing in my ... moreI adele, I don't know what kind of business woman are you but I doubt that you are one at all, I'm a business man and guess what? My business class don't care about camera phones, please, when you can have an ultra slim top of the line camera, who cares about the resolution of the bad photos of any mobile phone? Some of my friends can't even use camera phones on the work, duh!
