DMX, 21 Dec 2022I'm not going to take away your reason, but there are ... morevivo is doing quite a lot of brand awareness as I can see e.g. being the official Sponsor in the smartphone industry of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
And I always see many youtube smartphone reviewers comparing camera quality between iphone, samsung and vivo.
vivo is definitely heading somewhere esp in their camera quality.
I agree, they kinda suck in terms of having the highest flagship model being kept in sales only in China. Just hope they stop doing that soon.

For any business, launching their local products on the local market is more cost efficient, especially when the mobile market is as big as it is in China. I dont know the figures exactly but i'm betting that the domestic sales of these brands account for half of their global sales, and if include India then probably that accounts for 60% of global sales.

The fact is both China and West are pretty connected and profit from it in business while trade war is kind of serious and harmful thing, especially in situation world is today. Apple launches the same day the phone for everyone! Same Samsung! the only Chinese brand that used to do it was oneplus, the phone came out and it was for everyone, I got to buy the same day in pre-sale when I used oneplus... Huawei also used to do it globally! but BbK with a stupid policy, put that stuff out for everyone on the same day and that's it!

If x90 pro+ launches in my region, i'll buy it day one. I'm on S22, tried the x80 pro and it was awesome. The camera performance is day and night. I just returned it after hearing that the 90 series comes out soon. Now i can't wait.

i want to buy global version, but when i think about it, first it's almost 2 month later, and the price will be over 1200 Euro, so what is my benefits as a user, i pay more
for 2 month old Technology and i get it later! This is not fair, thats why i respect Huawei Samsung and Apple, the all deliver worldwide at the same moment.

The circular glass on the rear camera is so wide.
The chance of impact with any solid object is high.
Must be feels so anxiety when protecting the rear camera and putting it on the table.
