Oppo and OnePlus announce new strategic partnership

The new “dual-brand” strategy will see OnePlus as the pioneer brand for flagship smartphones.

OnePlus = dead. It was an interesting brand, for several series they had really good phones. For about two years their offer has been getting weaker so as not to threaten Oppo and Vivo. Good and well-priced products will be a dead brand now.
We need old real (no HMD) Nokia and LG or HTC back in business.

      I think they've confused partnership with ownship

        We have seen this coming for years and finally Oneplus has become an official Oppo's sub-brand. Now they don't have to use taichi whenever asked about Oneplus position in BBK. On a sadder note, looks like Oneplus promise of more independent OxygenOS will not become a reality anymore.

                So is OnePlus giving up on the US market? Their customer enthusiasm in the US has been declining in the last couple years.
