No. The s22u does not have a 100x lens.
It has a 10x lens (optical) capable of 100x digital zoom.
10x optical. Not digital.
Yes. I have 100x digital zoom via my 10x optical lens.
My comment was on the 10x lens. Not the software zoom.
Not sure why you're being so difficult. It's not hard to know I have an s22u when I literally seeked it out.
Just accept that your comment about the s22u lacking extra brightness was wrong and move on.

Happy to share a video of the extra brightness setting. It's there. It goes away when I select adaptive brightness, but it's there when you're on manual set brightness with adaptive off.
Not a huge fan of the phone... dropped it from about 3 ft today, in a Spigen case and the edge chipped. The camera quality isn't all that it's cracked out to be, and the off-axis color tint on the display is terrible. But yeah, it definitely has the extra brightness feature.
Whether it was added in Android 13 or always available with Android 12, I'm not sure. It's easy to miss if you have adaptive brightness on. So can't really say for sure. I do remember seeing it before I updated to Android 13, but I'm not 100%.

Samsung xcover 5 design choices are the best for a smartphone sad they are not more popular
The Other Samsung phone are kinda just overpriced junk close too that
Maybe the s23 ultra be a notch better as will have Snapdragon processor
Samsung crap brand really that used too make fun of apple for lack of handphone jack the notch etc but now is no better than apple in this compartment

I love my S22+. Especially, after pre-ordering it, downloading to a flash drive and uploading to the cloud the contents of my S20 FE 5G, which I traded in, my S22+ was free. The phone didn't cost me anything. Now, those of you who need a phone to serve as a gaming console versus serving as a device for vocal and written language communication, I guess getting a darn good smartphone for free is just a disappointment. And that's OK. I'll just take the very good smartphone for free instead of you taking it. Thanks for the free phone you turned down.

I have rhe s22 plus 256gb, and I could not be happier. The camera is amazing, screen is perfect, the size is way better then the max size ultra phones. Speakers are so loud and clear. Battery last longer than a day ,which is such a relief after the xiaomi 11t pro's half day lifetime. I do not know how was the s21 plus, as this my first samsung phone. Normally I swap my phones every two-three months, but this time I am just so happy with this device so I guess I gonna stick to this one until something really special comes out.

Give the S22 plus the same specs as the ultra but without the camera and i'll happily buy it
Otherwise i'm not interested in getting a $1200 device with so many compromises when i can just add another $100 and get the ultra
I guess the phones themselves aren't the issue but rather the prices. The S22 plus with its mid tier specs is priced too close to the ultra to be appealing to anyone while the S22 is small. Small phones don't sell well

If Samsung can do that on their enterprise-minded phones, then general consumers should have the right to have such a great feature on Galaxy A phones. Not everyone can afford to buy Galaxy S phones in the first place. That is why I still highly regard the 2020 LG Velvet 5G as my top favourite upper-midrange phone ever exists to this day. LG has proved that it's more than possible to give flagship-grade features on lower-tier lineups.

Winner: A52s 5G
Losers: A53 5G, A73 5G
After a full generation, the A52s 5G have the best price-value ratio compared to their "succesors"(except for the camera and battery differences vs A73), both in actual price and specs. The perfect cherry in top is if the A52s had Full DeX support (USB-C Alternate Mode)...
