They always said they were coming from Marseille in France, which their HQ were, but all the production was made in China by a supplier that provided kinda everything 😋
So perhaps Huawei (money) was behind since all these years if you though a little larger ? Kinda possible imho, wouldn't suprise me 🙃

There's a lot of workarounds, but you can only fool play protect for some time. Banking apps are also dependent on google and ios.

Kirin 9000 in P50 PRO does not have flagship grade Processor in 2022 it has arm Architecture (cortex A77) which 2020's flagship architecture. In 2022 Cortex x2 arm Architecture which is playing around flagship killer phone like Oneplus 10T, Mi 12t Pro, Realme GT2 Pro etc for 2000AED and some are below 1500AED
Only better thing is it has Better Sony Sensor in Main Camera which is not optimized.

[deleted post]There are lot of devices with snapdragon 695 + 108 MP camera, which has AMOLED 120hz Display + 5000MAH Battery(67W charging) which has priced aggressively like poco x4 pro, redmi note 11 pro + etc.
Here only LCD display with 4000MAH.
how people likes this phone? Waste.

Honor lover, 21 Dec 2022is i am the only guy who is not interested in huawei device... moreThe pricing is totally fine if you are willing to wait for a few months, for example, p50 pro for 2000 aed (around 600USD)is a steal compared to its launch price at 3999. I bought a mate 30 pro 5g at 1800 compared to its 4500 launch price and I'll buy the mate 50 pro the same way.

Hang and bugs are their main features. Atleast 1 year ui fix update they will not provide.Then he change to redmi note 4 he was so happy and used note 4 for 3 year. Now he redmi note 10s stil has bugs, but they try to fix through ota updates. Now miui 14 will come with Android update.
I don't think so wiko will provide proper software update to this phone even the chipset is latest(snapdragon 695)

Michy, 21 Dec 2022When I bought my Mate 30 Harmony OS didn't exist. Ok ???Then buy another not huawei phone with google services since you depend too much on google. Huawei/HarmonyOS will be less & less depend on having google on their devices so either you ditch their products or buy a secondary google device.

in middle east market there is no proper youtube techy reviewer like geekyranjit, ershad ullah etc. so the people know only iphone's and samsung's, altervative is huawei,wiko and honor.
even mobile shop are promoting Honor,wiko and huawei very well. the model which is 1 year back trend.
people trusted on mobile shop here.

no one see this Twitt. because no one or techies are not interested in honor because of their rude pricing.
the people who don't involve in techy things, will fall in wrong marketing of honor,wiko and huawei. they don't know the brand like realme, iqoo, oneplus etc are also in right track as honor or huaweior wiko even more.

I hate the pricing of huawei in middle east market. Realme and iqoo phones are pricing their phone as aggressively.
waiting for GT neo 5, iqoo 11 SE,neo 7, oneplus nord 3/5, 11r etc.

Very few care about Google services in China as Google services can't be used anyway without a VPN so they are kind of useless for most local people in China. I think it's mostly just foreign expats that want Google services
