Jman, 29 Dec 2022I'm not sure how people can trash the Tensor chip when... moreexactly. there's absolutely nothing wrong with tensor, its built to have the best balance of what smartphones are used for. it doesn't overheat, it doesn't drain the battery, and its not sluggish. its a good processor, and its only getting better. Apple silicon wasn't good when it was first made, but look where it is now. that's where tensor is headed.

It will give you a grade, recomendations, etc, everything but the details on how the grade was calculated. Basically it will give you all the info you need but without the details.
I've had Fitbit watches since 2015 without the premium features and just upgraded this year because of the 6 free months you get when buying a new watch and I think that non premium features are enough for most users.

I really hate the idea of only releasing pixel phones in a selected number of countries. For instance, Spain gets it but Portugal, where I am from, doesn't. I can buy one in Spain and use it here, but some lte functionalities and also 5G doesn't work

Someguyy, 28 Dec 2022nobody needs and wants a folding or flip phone. Agreed. Standard 6 inch screen with no rounded edges is ideal overall. Best balance. Flips/folds are just a trend niche.

Dual apps - while other manufacturers give built-in dual apps feature, i do not expect google to give this feature natively as they give minimum feature set, but they do not allow 3rd party apps to enable dual apps. That's shitty business strategy.
Pixel 6a was my first buy from Google but it will definitely be last.

Loser- Whole pixel design department. Their feature plans are so shitty, they don't even consider adding some features for devices released in countries other than usa. They lack even some basic must have features.

I'm not sure how people can trash the Tensor chip when Google Android is literally designed to be optimised for it.
It's like trashing Apple's chipsets.

40 comments and few are actually helpful. Critics rule-ones who don't compare and contrast to other brand models to help readers place a phone with equals (close to equals) from other brands. Too many instantly "deep six" a product without providing some facts.
Since they worry about possible bias by authors why not make yourselves (commentators) look less biased and look more convincing?
Shoppers should use GSMarena's VERY HELPFUL compare tool and read the specs. Too many people blowing hot air here to trust.
