Idon't know why you wouuld fight over another man's problem. It's all good that a company brings innovation to the table but even better that another forces him to get more creative. If we leave touchscreen technology for one company because it started it where will we be now?
Copying a companies design and borrowing a page from their features book all contribute to make the market competitive and reduce monopoly; thereby, making products pocket friendly.
I believe we should concentrate on giving user(hands on) opinion of these devices. Thus helping others make a better, informed decision.
Like why the heck do Sony produce phones that must be pluged for charging every day? Their battery don't last at all and a mobile device is useless once the battery is dead. Can't they learn from Motorola?

Oh blow me away it looks like the other 2000 boring slabs joining the market and i am glad...The more folk complain and get bored to death day by day of the touchscreen boring souless slabs the more they will complain..
They can do other top end style devices like clamshell with 3inch touchscreen which will have more screen estate than a 4.3 inch screen once the onboard keyboard pops up plus precision d-pad and proper send/end keys.

it seems that sony is able to make most things except phones, for some unknown reason. now i believe that apples iphone components are done by sony so it might be some non disclosure contracs between them its the only explanation i see for how poor sonys phones are. i believe they can do much better than samsung, htc and apple alltogether.

The phone even though is still in production, is already an ordinary phone especially size wise. There are lots of phone with the same spec out there. I wont be tempted. Give me something extra-ordinary i.e. bigger size and powerful, fast web browsing and longer battery life.
