Anonymous, 28 Dec 2022I would never buy a Chinese phone. I totally agree with you and I made this stand 3 years ago when I was using CN phones. When I switched to Samsung, I experienced the eco system of their product using Samsung pay.
I currently use S22 Ultra, typing this and awaiting S23 Ultra release to buy it for a family member then I will introduce the Samsung eco system to them.

The last good Samsung flagship device was the galaxy note 10+ 5G, after that the build quality worsened, devices weren't worth their launch prices anymore, and no new game changing innovation happened. it lasted all day plus more (something the s22 ultra doesn't), it had a microSD reader (unlike the s22 ultra) it started at a base configuration of 12/256GB (the s22 ultra starts at 8/128GB) It had exciting, unique colors that screamed expensive, (the s22 ultra doesnt) It had good speakers (unlike the s22U). it had a good vibration motor (unlike the s22U), It came with a charger, USB adapter, earbuds, and spen tips (the s22U doesnt)
and the worst part?
the note 10+ started at $1,099
the s22 Ultra starts at $1,249

Their popularity and standard is why retailers sell them with over high uncompetitive prices in some regions.
Just like u my region sells Samsung flagships and iPhones prices too high(especially the iPhones).But not all regions are the same
If u compare the dollar price and technology of Samsung s22 series it's neck and neck with the competition

Nobody here thinks that the S22 series and their budget lines are competitive for their price. They are a joke at best. And I'm not criticising as a hater bro, I'm ciriticising because I have been such a loyal Samsung user who has gotten sick of their non-competitive flagships, that is why I switched to another brand and I'm still hoping they do something decent next year. I'm not switching to a Samsung foldable, they are priced the worst alongside the iPhones in my country. Lastly, don't think it personally if I'm criticising Samsung online. You sound so desperate to defend a company you're not even associated with.

Must've better battery life/management on all across the S series. Even if it comes with Qualcomm chip, there must be some improvements on thermal too.
