S23 battery capacity is unacceptable. Could've put at least 4,000 mAh in it.

I hope that they bring back ad cards. Cuz damn I miss extendable storage for my photos and videos. Cloud storage is ridiculously expensive

Battery capacity is too low. And no the phone doesn't get necessarily thicker when having a bigger battery.

Look at the Sony Xperia 10 iv. One of the most Compact smartphones these days. Has a 5000mAh battery, quite thin and it's one of the lightest smartphone as well!

Reason why Samsung doesn't put in bigger capacity batteries: Consumer frustrating after 18 months
Consumer gets (slightly) annoyed by shorter battery Life. After 12 months device won't last a full day. After 18 months you will be annoyed so you start looking for a new device since money isn't a big problem for you since you almost paid 1000€ for your current device.
And since you enjoyed your current Galaxy device, chances are quite high that your next device will also be a Galaxy smartphone.

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2022It will make phones thicker. Not good at all.You people are absurd. When the battery is small you complain that it's too small and who cares for the phone being thin. When the battery is bigger you complain it might be thicker. Humanity 101

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2022It will make phones thicker. Not good at all.No, not thicker

I hope the people who wanted bigger batteries remember that bigger batteries means a thicker phone
Considering that the S22 felt thick as hell because of it's flat back and screen without 2.5d glass, this added thickness will make the S23 a literal brick, not to mention the added thickness of the case you'll put on the phone
I'm not worried about the ultra tho, thanks to its curved back and screen, it won't feel thick even tho it'll be well over 9mm, it will still feel thinner than the S22 at 7.6mm

Weird that a lot of people complaining about phone not being small enough while wanting to have a power bank inside of those things.
I bet 5000 on the Ultra is already pretty good, and 4000 and 4700 on the S23(+) should be enough of an upgrade to last year rather disappointing battery performance on the lackluster 3700mAh cell of the S22, while the S22+ with the 4500mAh did just fine in my opinion.
And these phones should use a better platform comparing to the Mid-xynos 2200 and SD 8 Gen 1, at least on battery consumption.
