The biggest upgrade will come with the model S25.
Companies upgrade every 4-5 years now. Not yearly.

Basically zero improvement since the s21 ultra up until the s24 ultra.
And given how smartphone cameras have hit a wall i suspect there won't be any improvements for another decade.

My Expectations for S24
1. Under Display Front Camera
2. Better Design
3. A proper small flagship, with 5.7 inch flat display or 5.9 inch Curved display
4. No crippled features in non Ultra phones
4. Unrealistic but maybe sd slot can be brought back
5. Better Haptics, better speakers.
6. If possible chuck the plus phone let Ultra and Vanilla S24 be the only models available so people who prefer to spend more and want the bigger phone will go for ultra and rest can buy the regular model with significant price difference.

they give a good f*ck on user privacy. ios is not open-source, so apple can get any of your personal information without you noticing, as there is no possibility to track the system activity as nobody knows the source code of ios. moreover, apple implements weak points in the os, so that certain agencies can get your data easily. and again, as nobody knows the source code, nobody can program an app that eliminates those weak points because nobody knows where they are, except apple.
additionally, there are many examples for apple's insecurity:
for example there is the pegasus software programmed by an israeli company that was sold to governments all over the world. it sends messages to the iphone of the targeted person. that person doesn't even need to tap on a link or interact with that message in any way. it automatically intrudes the system and tracks everything on the device. literally everything.
this isn't possible on android because android is open-source, so the possible weak points are easily detected and can be eliminated by a corresponding software. politicians with iphones can't be protected, as only apple can know what is going on in the phone.

2. wears similar to rest phones, li-ion battery is about cycle and heat
3. this whats good from iphones, thus help prolong battery lifespan abit, but not much different
4. nope, go check around, iphone just tad better in video in various test
5. better soc combined with closed eco-system. this advantage for apple, also disadvantage because consumer forced to only use apple-products
6. bug-free? there nothing perfect.
7. more updates = means more issue need fixed, u didnt realize it ?
8. iphone sometimes is much more restricted/limited
9. faceid have pros and cons, especially ever since covid many people still wearing mask
10. flagship = phones that sells most in your dictionary ?

Bu yes, the MicroSD slot missing on my S22u 512 is a pain in the a$$ and I had to purchase a Samsung T7 1 To in USB C to have content that I had previously on my Note 10+ with the 512 Go MicroSD card in my pocket ... I will not purchase a S23 or S24 if doesn't have a MicroSD. Will go to mid ranger instead of flagship and so be it ...
