Great looking phone. Maybe it's not quite the game changing revolution that Samsung would have us believe but still very impressive. It's certainly a bigger step up from the S3 than iphone5 was from the 4S imo.
Hopefully Samsung won't go too silly on the pricing but it's their new flagship so I'm not holding my breath.

But then samsung is all about numbers because people fall for it. Xperia Z is a much much all round better device in my opinion plus its simply classy compared to this samsung. Heck, even xperia Z screen is better than this from known review. LONG LIVE PLAY, LONG LIVE SONY.

I thought.. S4 is gonna have a aluminum body, but this is a blown balloon of S3 by looks, some upgraded specs doesn't really matter for me here in India as operators don't provide us such versatile pack of internet. We have spend more here compared to operators abroad. Samsung cheats India always, it isn't different, the difference this time around is, it didn't spare the whole world. By far the best samsung phone i like till date is S2.. Not even S3..

Oh well... A new Galaxy phone. Good on the specification side but I feel it is not going to kill any competition. Few years back there was a major difference in specification between major manufacturers but now if compare all new phone they all have quad core, 1080p screen and good amount of inbuilt storage and ram. This galaxy however is also a quad core phone only(only batch of 4 core run at a time).. The difference between phones has decreased a lot. We have more option now. I wonder how many application properly utilises these many cores. In my opinion I feel HTC one going to be a winner this time. Being an iP4S user I am really afraid that if Apple does not do anything great with their iOS and iPhone in their next iteration, they are going to die a slow death. Other phone manufacturers are doing really a great job.. Good luck galaxy S4.

to iphone fans, if you are not interested in the samsung phone then don't come visiting its post and bashing up the s4. be abit more mature and if you are happy with you iphone and thinks its the best phone in the world so be it. i don't go to iphone post and bash up the iphone. i like samsung because it meets my personal needs.

I had s3 and I hated it so much i sold it and came back to my old htc desire, now I need new phone and had a little of hope s4 will be something im looking for, something new, something stuning... I jus pre-ordered htc one

I don't see a reason for giving at least 750€ for unlocked "flagship" device which looks same as the cheapest Sammy phone.
Yeah, it has some really cool features, 8 cores sounds wow but it is not needed. Samsung should really change design and make its flagship look different.

Yes, HTC redesigns its flagships (one of which they release every few months, by the way) and with good reason--the previous one didn't sell for shit! They also suck when it comes to software updates. If it's been more than a year since your device's release, you're going to be SOL. And while Sense is pretty to look at, it's not nearly as feature-rich as TW. I did not hesitate at all when I moved to AOKP (which is the only way my Sensation got a taste of 4.1.x).

SGS 4 back looks exactly the same ugly as SGS 3. Hate that plastic look.
The specs sounds promising, but even though Xperia Z has worse screen and weaker CPU, I will choose Xperia Z. Because it is more durable and has a much better design.

Now i see why iOS and other platforms esp nokia is angry and furious about samsungs flagship devices.. they wait behind to see every other brand flagship announce theirz then they sieve every key every features from them and then add them all up to theirz.. very annoying.. yes.. they show no respect for the competitors in the market and is gradually contouring some bad reputation to seoul share value.. Is very risky for the mobile world..

very good phone but dont seem to beat one..
im going for one cus ui/sound/designe/screen size and build quality is very imortant for me than some software capability.

Lagging isn't all due to d just CPU, but also a lot of blotware and improper architecture. What I am saying here is, y add 4 more cores? y not allow d 4 A15 cores switch down to 1 core to handle less demanding task? That should be innovation. Not adding several more CPUs. Do u need 4 cores to handle text, view multimedia, use ur camera, I don't think so. Innovation comes in when d device is able to, by itself, switch from 4 to 2 to 1 core, depending on d task at hand, yet not tasking battery. Everybody just simply goes for bigger numbers is better thats all.
Most of u folks think u see innovations when u see larger numbers, but that ain't always d case. Try to think dude, not just buy and us and brag.

99% of people commenting here had not even touched the phone n are commenting for its bad build quality... how do u know its quality is bad?? have u done a drop test or any torture test with it?? though design is not that great to compete wid htc one/xperia z but featurewise its good n will beat other droids... xperia z can give it a tough competition but is really tough to beat S4 while looking at htc's financial condition, it doesnt have that much potential even to think of competition against samsung...
