Running out of ideas to make an interesting phone now I see? Same designs, and new features that are at best only gimmicks. It is clear that Samsung is out of ideas and it simply waiting for the next big feature from other phone vendors, which then Samsung will go on copy them.

Samsung and Innovation? Oh please...Those two words should never belong together in the same sentence. It's embarrassing.

I really think this octa core is just a marketing gimmick. Do u really need 4 cores at what ever clock speed to handle low tasking functions, like viewing multi-media, phone calls etc. That is something a single core clocked at 800mhz-1ghz can easily handle. To be honest, Samsung uses a whole lot of marketing gimmicks they call "innovations" to really rip ppl off, and folks just tend to blindly follow once they see large numbers. Can anyone of u fanboys really educate us on d TRUE ESSENCE of d 8 cores? or u guys just follow large numbers even if it doesn't matter much?
The 4 A15 CPU, with good architecture, should be able to handle any task whether heavy or light. IMHO, what should make a good 4 core CPU great should be ability to automatically down clock or switch to single core for "less tasking/demanding functions". That is what should be focused on, not having 2 different clocked CPU for different functions. That is not at all smart. Forget about the battery savings talk, that is all part of the gimmick.

Why do some people on here hate competition? What is there to loose for the consumers?

Samsung is giving us alternatives and variations, and I think that's cool.

same design, same plastic material. Nothing new in this phone in the sense of shape and design. I think it would have been better for samsung to name it s3s rather than s4. I hate samsung's plastic, and it doesn't seem they will change anytime soon.

Tech101, 15 Mar 2013A good copy-job. Not worth my money. Samsung's M.O: Wait... moreSince when this S4 copy anything? Processor is new, design is from Samsung line up & many more It is always Apple copies something and patent. That's all & it is a fact.

Your nothing impressive, no innovation, same design is not going to earn my money.

S4 is the 1st flagship phone in year 2013 - I seen it, I said good bye to it.

I am a design engineer and I know how hard it is to make a design. my philosophy is always to have a practicality in design . practicality in function , looks , ease of use and durability . and in my view last 6 months every OEM turned out to be big asshole s . first it was I phone5 with is impractical screen aspect ratio and less than durable materials . then it was Lumia 920 with less than stellar processers and its not so compact thick bezel (but still most practical of the lot ). then it was blackberry with outdated form. then xperia z with stupid choice of materials ( I know the phone looks good but such a thin device should use a durable material like plastic or metal not glass , we don't keep our phones in our show cases but in our pockets and hands ), then the real dissapointment came with HTC one who in search of good looks spoiled the great design they had with one x . though it is unibody but not practically unibody . just different components sticked together to form outer shell. I seriously doubt HTC one will withstand falls and accidents . now its galaxy s4 and you know why they are assholes .

Love the design, minimum bezel. Just the way I wanted.

I can now believe reviews from chinese websites.

Why Samsung copying everything .. Like last year what Samsung doing is waiting to release flagships Of all other companies and copying every hardwork of others. For example last year htc innovated simultaneous recording features and at the last end Samsung copied it on s3. This year there is lot.. Htc's greatest innovations like ir controll htc Zoe etc.. Even they try to make the weather widget look like htc.. Hmm am hating Samsung.. I love htc.. Samsung just copying their hardwork and winning in business.. pitty right ?

S4 -No thanks. I am good with my Note2.

Design is a disaster. It looks like the galaxy S from back.
As usual great hardware. Cam , screen has to be reviewed thoroughly. I dint mind if the features are present in other phones.no issues unless the feature is a complete ripoff from another device. Remember LG is using eye tracking of samsung.
