"The Galaxy A54 5G prototype that ran Geekbench managed a 776 single-core score and a 2,599 multi-core score. It was tested running Android 13 (undoubtedly with Samsung's One UI 5 on top). At least one version of the phone will come with 6GB of RAM, although it's highly likely that an 8GB option will be available too.
The chipset at the helm identifies as S5E8835, which according to previous rumors will be the successor to the Exynos 1280. Its most likely official name will be Exynos 1380. This comes with a CPU that has four 2.4 GHz performance cores and four 2.0 GHz efficiency cores. The Mali G68 GPU is present too."
Exynos 1280 is 5nm. Further down that article there is info on F04, which will have 12nm Helio P35. And you mixed it all up...

This should be here since 2014 when N2 was unveiled as a first device with USB-C.
Micro USB were fine since 2012 but were too soon prevaied by USB-C.
USB-C lasted longer than Micro USB. Dont know what type of charger or cable will come next but it looks like it wont be here anytime soon.
But i am very happy that freaking tiny slow easy to breaks lightning cable is going away for the sake of humanity.

The design is evolving, just backwards
You had the A51 which had incredibly thin bezels, maybe even the thinnest on any mid range phone
Then the A52 got bulked up with thicker bezels and finally you get the A54 with EVEN THICKER bezels, resembling something like the iPhone XR
This phone will apparently have a 6.4 inch screen and yet it's bigger than the previous ones that had a 6.5 inch screen
If this trend continues, by the time they reach the A59, the bezels would have become so thick, we'd be making a full circle and back to the pre 2017 designs

As a guy who followed cellphone industry advancements and specially samsung for about 10 years now, i have noticed that samsung can make the best phones in all categories, but won't. I dont know why. Samsung has a habit of screwing up at least one aspect of their phones. Or at best, when they make the all-rounder phone, the successor will be screwed up.
I dont know why, but samsung has been letting me down since after the galaxy s4...

Hanif Fikri, 31 Dec 2022good phone but not value for money..I want great software support too. That's why I've not bought a Xiaomi or Realme. They give better hardware but horrible software and late updates if any.

Best midranger a good joke to be honest.
A52 and A52s would like be best samsung midrangers.
Since then there is nothing worth calling a best midranger.
No charger in the box, no memory slot, no earphones or earplug, worse CPU and GPU, worse camera front and back and worse many else and also many else cuts but increased pricing from A52s made this device a instant no as a best midranger.
Redmi note 12 discovery, 12 pro plus, Speed edition or K60, K60E or Pro version cost way less and is way better in every aspect.
Motorola X40 cost likely the same and is way better in every aspect.
ZTE nubia Z50 is way better and cost less than this thing will be. Even ZTE Voyage 40 Pro is better deal for 300.
Vivo S16 and S16 pro are also a lot better deal to be honest.
Honor GT80 and many else devices from Hnor will cost 450 or less in other words equal price of A54 by samsung but will offer a lot better specced device.
Even vivo iQOO Neo7 Racing gives more specs for less price than A54 by samsung or A53 which cost around 400-700 depends on configuration.
No matter what samsung will do any other company will win in sales because for much lower price they going to sell much better devices.
Here in Slovakia A54 cost from as low as 400 up to 600 depends on vendor but if a Samsung wants this phone to be best midranger it must have pricetag of no more than 250 othervise they wont sell as much as they thinking.
All above phones and brands offer better specs for less price. And too many cuts and typical samsung bloatware make this instant no buy.
