Useless phone. Even Xiaomi flagships are horrible. They get updates too late. Go for Realme instead. Much better user interface. But I'd rather go for Samsung.

wired enough it's predecessor redmi 10c has better specs in some area
redmi 12c has these downgrades in compare to 10c:
slower storage emmc 5.1 vs ufs on 10c
slow charging 10w (vs 18w on 10c)
microusb (vs type c on 10c)
slower processor but has new architecture cortex A75 vs high clocked A73 on 10c (wired enough snapdragon has high benchmark scores than g85)
price wise it is acceptable but if you look back on 10c this phone gets really confusing
