Actually, I am taking about when 'I' as a new user join telegram for first time, then everyone who has my contact gets an alert on their telegram that I have joined telegram. There is no such option to disable it during signup, but only after you are in.

                    Also, there are fourms where it is already discussed many times with zero solution. Even though telegram is privacy focused, still this is not a privacy to announce about my telegram before unknown or unwanted people who have my contact by any reason.

I always saw that as a tactic to keep users informed of new contacts so that they don't assume no one is using the app and uninstall it. But now that a lot of people actually do use the app I really wish they'd stop bothering us. It especially annoys the people who use the app the most.

                          First of all, tell me.. what to do with the given solution by you? If I create an account on telegram, it will already announce to everyone that 'I have joined telegram'.

                          So your so called "SOLUTION" is only available or possible when the damage is already done! If you don't understand someone comment, then you can ask politely rather than ranting! But no, you wanted to be oversmart!

                                Telegram is the best. Nothing comes close!

                                  Many people including me wanted was the privacy to stop notifying every single telegram user out there whoever has your personal contact saved that you have joined telegram!

                                  And all they ever did with updates is filling telegram with idiotic stuff.
