Then hi res mode, even if brings down quality per pixel, image looks good even when zoomed in to details, faces, etc. Though I'm on low res now and it's not bad for most situations, there are life situations where I could make use of hi res and I certainly miss this option. I do have camera tho, so I got an option, my next phone will be likely vivo still.
240W on millions of phones or 24W on millions of them, both can make some flames if design is bad, but it shouldn't be invented with that intention. In the case of worry, you can just wait few weeks for user reviews.
Anyway, great thing about fast charge is, you can charge it fast but also slowly too, but you got an option in case of need, which also happens to me a lot...
As for longevity, at least in my case, 1-2 years of usage, it should survive. To change battery is always an option, in case its really bad.

In case of new phones there are tons of security things which prevents overheating.
And nowdays 200W+ charging speeds means less than 10 minutes of charging.
In past waiting 2 or more hours to charge and you still used your phone played games etc would be a problem.
This is fixed now because litterary everybody can wait less than 10 minuutes to charge their phone before they going to heavy usage again.

Why to have extra phone battery if phones from Xiaomi or Oppo can charge in less than 10 minutes??? Such a waste.
How many times in your lie you go toplaces with no charger or electricity around???
For that i can use powerbrank or buy a phone like Oukitel WP19 which have 21 000 mAh cell on its own and endurance rating on stand by of more than 100 days. No other phone does this.
And as i said shows and authorized sevice centres will give you a warranty and fix your phone without voiding your warranty.
Only a clumsy ,stupid person would use a non genuine service centre or guy of a next door for voiding your warranty.

I never said that the fast charging kills the batteries, I said that it was the heat that comes with it that is killing batteries. It doesn't matter how many charge cycles it has, heat is bad for batteries, and it will wear your battery down.

AnonD-731363, 05 Jan 2023Man my warranty comes from a repair shop and from a brand. ... moreNow you are trying to pull it back again? No, Samsung/Apple/Sony/HMD/Huawei and so on, has hardware warranty from the manufacturers. And that's not the same "warranty" as shops give you. But you literally just admitted that you prefer corruption and that your country is the only "legal" country. If I buy any product from there and try to get it repaired at any legal authorized repair shop, they wouldn't do it on warranty.!

And if you ever knew what replaceable battery and cover was, you would actually know what we are talking about.! It's something that you can do for free, at home or wherever you are and not breaking any warranty. You could buy a phone and 2 extra batteries, and change between as much as you want.

But some of us have very busy work lives and 240w charging is a game changer. 1600 cycles over 4 years at 240w is perfectly acceptable, people just like to moan about anything new.
