So basically, 256 SHOULD'VE been bare minimum on any flagship 3-4 years ago!
I wouldn't have raged so hard on removal of micro sd IF 256gb had been base version. But of course, how would cloud storage would be in trending? It's no brainer. NO addon storage, and LOW base storage equals $$$ in cloud services :((.
So, conclusion here, 256 gb base storage on s23 series is nothing to hype about, NOTHING.

In SD cards difference between sanding 64GB and 256GB is not more than 20 euros.
In disk space is likely the same but companies loves to overprice everything.
Even a real SSD Disk price cost are small between smaller and bigger storage options unless you going to buy somethinh like 20TB or so.

I do miss DeX, but Sony flagship phones does support wired video output and I have a 21:9 PC monitor at home, so I can live without DeX. But more importantly, having the headphone jack and microSD card slot proves to be really helpful when I use external microphone for mobile vlogging and I shoot tonnes of videos and photos.

I do... and samsung never brings it... : (((

Thanks to Samsung for this great move!
I think the space required for movies, photos, and other things has gone up a lot and memory less than 256 is very bad, so I'm happy with this move by Samsung and thank you Samsung.
I downloaded the movie Interstellar 2014 with a space of 28.9 GB Batman 2022 movie with 16.6GB space top gun maverick movie with 22.9GB space The father 2020 movie with 8.47GB space...

I hope it still start at same price as before for base storage.
Else I can see this as best way to justify price increase lol. If they did, they better use the latest UFS 4.0 and nothing else.

In the last 3 years Phones have recieved the biggest Downgrades in storage ever recorded in history of phone making. Literally in 2016 the minimum was 32 or 64 gb AND had sd card.
64 GB was 2017-2018 and 128 gb after 2019. A person would think (literally COMMON SENSE) that phones in 2020, or ok 2021, or even 2022 will have 256 AS BASE storage MINIMUM but no. What did scummy companies did ? Nothing. They shipped 128 gb models without any self shame and made 256 gb to pay extra.
What did carriers did ? And Any 3rd party sellers ??? Obviosly sold cheapest ones.
And to make clear. These scammy companies are: Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo and it's side branches, Zte, Motorola, Asus, Huawei and Samsung.
Literally all companies shipped phones with 128 minimum and removed the sd card option.
This is literally the only good news so far. If you are a tech enthusiast with 2 grams of any tech knowledge you will know many companies copy Samsung so this is the proper direction.

What would I do with 256GB?
Many phones would be easily $100 cheaper if there was base 64GB.
