SG8+Gen1 (K60) and SG8Gen2 (K60 Pro) take the same amount of power of 6W. The on-screen time and heat should then be pretty much the same. The price diff buys you speed but even at that the gaming FPS rate advantage will not buy much as the most demanding game Genshin Impact runs smooth with the slower SoC/GPU.

To me, the real star is the K60: it offers the perfect balance of price-performance, ARMv9 architecture, decent weight, in-display fingerprint reader and a very powerful and efficient SoC (hopefully, the Snapdragon 8+ G1 is the new Snapdragon 870 for flagship killers).
I can’t wait to see it in its global (POCO) form. If the price is right (under 500 euros), I want one ASAP.

Next phone you change to pixel, nothing phone, moto etc. Then you will understand the smoothness is evident in Android world. And you will not go back to miui crap.

Bette... moreIronic that you called for MIUI bug fix while mentioning Nothing. Do you know that new bugs are added to the Nothing Phone 1 after every update?
And about UI size. Do you know that Iqoo's Funtouch is equally as heavy as MIUI?

None of the models sold out and they are all readily available to purchase from official sources (Xiaomi and jd.com) since the launch with no waiting time so there is no need for flash sales and the first 'batch' has not sold out at all. I think Xiaomi/Redmi is doing less of these flash sales tactics nowadays in China as their is too much competition at the same price point in recent years so not releasing sufficient stock when a phone is hot at launch just leads to lost sales to another brand
