Because Dimensity manufacture their chip from TSMC and Snapdragon was with Samsung fab. Everyone knows that problem of Exynos Chip. Overheating issue which leads to drop in sustain performance.

        In synthetic benchmark Sd 8gen 1 can wins, but for sustain performance dimensity wins.

        Once Snapdragon move to TSMC fab, then the story got changed. Snapdragon got huge lead in sustain performance, continuous gaming and synthetic benchmark.

        Also mainly Snapdragon is scoring in camera certric phone because of it's ISP. That is why OEM used to go for that.

It throttle a lot, in X mode it drop as low as 50% of perfomance, sustain performamce is around 60 to 70. If you claim D9000 is stable give us proof from reputable site.

              And there are plenty of reviews here in Gsmarena where some implementation of 8G1 throttle less like oneplus 10 pro.

                  In 20 stability loop score, First Loop snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is winning. But last score Dimensity is winning. In between Snapdragon is get heating

                  This means continuous Gaming Dimensity 9000 will give stable performance.

                  Last Loop testing Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 getting overheated and leads to down the GPU performance and even go down as much as Snapdragon 845 GPU. Stability wise in GPU Dimensity is better.

Currently the situation is different. Snapdragon is better than Dimensity. Because it TSMC fab. eg. 8+ gen 1 is very efficient chipset.

                      That is what i meant to say.

                      Diimensity 9000 is far better than snapdragon 8 gen 1. but is case of 8+ gen1 it is reverse.

                              Hemedans, 03 Jan 2023So is Tensor, those type of gaming which dont run on Tensor... moremost of the medium gamer's choice some dimensity phone like 8000, 9000 etc because snapdragon 888, 888 +, 8 Gen 1 are samsung fabircated, which tends to heat chipset a lot. Heating is the bigest enemy of performance.

                              Because of that Dimensity 8000 series, 9000 series seriously became dominator in gaming chipset. Eg: Rogphone 6D, poco x4 GT etc

                                        Ticherhaz, 03 Jan 2023Expensive, better go for Samsung or Google PixelThis is good for only gaming. Iqoo 11 se, poco F5 pro, realme gt neo5, OnePlus 11r etc are competor for phantom X2.

                                        I am using pixel 6a. Which shine in good camera and Software experience. Nothing less. Performance like gaming is bad.
