i think i shoud not wait for samsung S4 to get it.if i buy
s3 now and upgrade it later it will be more cheaper and similler.s3 & s4 are twins with different ideas.

The only reason these bashers have is plastic, however plastic is not the problem. The problem is apple who does not want to see any Samsung phone shaped like the Iphone. Indeed apple had patent agreement with the other companies to allow near rectangular shaped devices. Samsung is tied of law suits. Samsung had metal covered phones before and the next iteration of galaxy series will. I believe we need bold designers/lawyers for Samsung. Some of the concept shapes are pretty good and can be borrowed by Samsung. In the hardware front Samsung has raised the bar, they are leading, they have mastered the android platform. There is good staff in S4. Negative comments were made about s3, but it is still selling! Any new technology must have challenges, the day for AMOLED/PHOLED has come courtesy of Samsung!

No one cares about the specs they mean nothing to the user plus the cloud on the gs4 is copied from the htc one.

No one is pointing the gun in people's head to upgrade, it's for others that are still holding on to older models and possibly people with S3 who just wish to get it?

Samsung has been stuck by the shadows of success S series, they dont dare to make radical changes about their design of S4, and time will answer what their fanatic customers will respond positively. This is very embarrassing and not innovative for a company selling high technology products...

I have xperia acro s. AND I LOVE IT! But the rumors regarding s4 made me a bit confused on mobile lines. But upon the release of s4, It got me really disappointed. Its not always in the cores that matter. Design an durability also do. They just made a bigger s3 that infact they have note 2 which is big and great. I was really expecting a lot of new features on it but sad to say thers nothing much. Xperia z is soo classy and a high-end phone that you can show and be proud of, not only with whats inside, but also in the out side. Good job sony. Ill stay with sony.

I'm generally very pro-Samsung and rate the S3 as the best phone of its time but I genuinely feel Samsung have dropped the ball on this one. The S4 is impressive enough but it simply doesn't set the bar high enough. Apaprt from a few software tricks (many of which will grace the S3) there's simply nothing on offer that's either new, exciting or revolutionary. I understand Samsung's reluctance to change a winning formula but there's simply not enough here to make the mouth water. No attempt at bucking the trend for more and more megapixels in the camera module, no attempt to move to a more premium look or feel, no attempt to raise the bar on the audio front, no attempt to make the handset more robust or impervious to dust or water. It's happened so many times before (cough..Nokia..cough) that a company hits the magic formula then sits on its laurels while those around them destroy them with innovation and ambition. I've no doubt the S4 will sell by the barrow load but it worries me that I'd be just as happy buying an HTC One or an Xperia Z and they were announced earlier. Sorry Samsung, my humble opinion is this latest effort was barely enough, let's hope I'm wrong.

samsung have already anounced that the same software will be coming to the s3, so if you dont need the extra power whats the point in the s4? all the fanboys need to pipe TF down.

I don't get it. Calling S4 "junk" without even considering the specs such as the processor, camera sensor and awesome high-res screen? All of you xperia fanboys keep complaining about "junk" and "plastic" but when the benchmarks come out, you ignore it and concentrate on "build quality". Yes, Xperia Z looks better but S4 outperforms it in every way.

For the people who do not like the S4, well do not buy it, go buy the HTC One or Sony Xperia Z, both of which do not have removable battery, and the HTC also does not have upgradable storage. Me and many other people who are happy with Samsung devices "the company listens to their consumers, like the CEO said in his speech during the presentation of the S4", I know that when my battery runs low I can just pull out another battery from my pocket and insert it into my device and of I go, and if I want more storage for my high resolution music and high resolution movies I just pop in my 64 gig micro sd card "there is a reason why manufacturers make those nice little micro SD cards", sorry but I do not want to be tied down to the cloud to listen to music or watch movies, yes all those things I can do with my S3 and if I decide to get the S4 in the future "S3 is doing a fantastic job for me so far", then it will serve me well, just like the S3 has. I used to be a big HTC fan, I stopped supporting companies that could care less of what I wanted, so I started talking with my wallet, as so many others have that were disappointed in the features that where given "or lack thereof".

Anyway, I totally understand your frustration and I would probably do the same if I were you.
Your kingdom of platic is going down and you know it lol. Everyone is promoting Sony for their stunning Xperia Z. On the other hand, most tech reviews and people are not satisfied with the junk quality of samsung, and too bad you have to live with it kido.

Considering that the s3 was a great success, why change a good thing, I think that is why samsung have kept the s4 so similar, and really these days people tend to have more use for a mobile in comparison to previous years where the iphone was more of a fashion item. I have a s3 second gen its a great phone, I would get a s4 just because of the technology and the ease of use. One main thing I have noticed after owning an iphone and an xperia arc, their tech is outdated and slow/laggy. Iphones are built well but so much limitation in software for example music or movies - have to sync through itunes... Where as androids copy and paste so good.
I hope Samsung keeps making great phones that are fast, user friendly and have great battery life.
