Anonymous, 13 Jan 2023Air Pod Knock-off!!!Nah, airpods have a different kind of design, and this freebuds 5i is based on the higher freebuds 5 just with a soft tip and a classic wireless earphone case. Second just look at the design, very different. This kind of comment is what I want to hear specially on Apple fans, their entitlement that Apple products are so unique even Apple did not even invent their own features on the Iphone products, they just snatch features from android and slap it into their cult phone and just say that it is from them and it is all brand new

i used the freebuds 4i over a year and since 10 days ago i bought the freebuds 5i...no big upgrades , the Awareness mode i allot better on the 4i...noise cancelation is the same...the 5i stems are a bit shorter and thats about it...they sound the same, but i preffer the 4i sound more... so gonna give the 5i to my gf ... conclusion , if you have the 4i buds, dont upgrade to 5i, not worth it imo...cheers

What about Microphone Quality - in calls ..noisy environment etc . The review is very weak..alomost useless.
You know Gsmarena - some of us are actually using TWS earphones for calls ....

There are many types of earphones. Each one has great things. But when you give up everything and only want brilliant sound quality you should buy a decent in ear monitors.

4i lasts for 10 hours in same conditions, with same 55mAh battery.
So.. what are those 60% about?
400mAh case up from 215mAh case if 4i is good, but only on paper, until you count worse efficiency.
The only thing which may justify this, and the price bump, may be improved ANC, which we can't measure and compare by reading this article.
I'm the 4i user.
And only flaw of 4i is slippery surface - makes hard to extract buds from the case.
Maybe ANC could be better, but it's good enough, allowing to reduce volume and save my ears in noisy environments.

Freebuds 4i makes my ear leak in just 3 minutes and its itchy. I thought it's just the silicon thing so I bought another 1..after using the new one it is still making my ear irritated..what is this wuawei..

i had the old 4i. loved them with every aspect they had.
low price, comfortable, good sound/talk quality, and decent size in the pocket.
