AMD's Radeon 7000 series bring RDNA 3 to laptops

The RX 7000 GPUs will directly target Nvidia's popular 3060 GPU, beat it.

First question is, are these built with chiplets or a monolithic design?
Monolithic makes more sense, for increased efficiency necessary for mobile devices. Chiplet is mostly a cost saving feature, and only makes sense on a larger mobile chipset that houses multiple processors (CPU, GPU, NPU, etc etc).

I like they standardised the VRAM size, Memory Interface, and the InfinityCache.
But the naming is a bit of a mess. Also these aren't very impressive GPUs, with the 8GB models making up for the low-midrange market. While the 4GB seems a little unnecessary as they could easily make up with that using an integrated GPU like we saw in the r7-6800u chipset.

    they need to pay AMD more to port their drivers, with new Adreno which rival RDNA 2 perfomance while using around 600mhz clock speed it will be hard for them to compete in future.

        Rdna2 is fine and even Steam deck use it with great success, problem is Samsung used Google deiver called Angle which translate Open Gl code thats why you see so many issues with it.
