Since the 10 watt charger have been around for 50 years.

Anonymous00, 05 Jan 2023What's the point of crazy fast charging? Realme should... morePeople always complain about having "unnecessary" sensors and when they get removed, they complain their phone doesn't work properly, an example is the proximity sensor
In this case and this phone, could the ultra wide camera work as a depth sensor? Totally, but they would then have to do R&D and adept their camera app to use it, there would also be more processing overhead and the result might also not be as good compare to just slapping the same 2mp sensor which they have time to refine
Does this mean a dedicated depth sensor would become useless? Totally not as long as ewaste phone exists, there is a place for those sensors and it's with those single main lens with low end chipset where doing software background blur without the depth sensor would be too much for it to handle
Same thing for the macro camera, if the main camera can take a clearer photo, then it's just a depth sensor marketed as a (useless) macro camera
But if its focal distance is super close like the poco f3 macro at less than 4cm, then there is still a place for them as they can take niche picture of stuff that other lens can't
Of course if the macro focal distance is so close, it's just a unuseable blurry mess at normal distance and it would need a separate depth sensor
