Bollocks. MY moto edge+ 2020 has a headphone jack. Dumb shits they are. I know there's others I just haven't used one. I prefer stock or close to Android and Motorola, this is my 6th. Flip Phone a walkie talkie style in '02 moto g then nexus 6 edge+ thinkphone. Always durable only the nexus ever needed fixing the USB charge casing.
Thinkphone is great super fast for 8gig and they're spot on about the camera 😭

YUKI93, 07 Jan 2023Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro says hi.It looks both tempting in terms of specs and boring in terms of design (the XCover 4s looks better imho) but at the same time, and unfortunately not available here. I prefer the older Active phones and the XCover phones until 4s tbh

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2023You must be too rich to say that 8+ Gen 1 is outdated when ... moreI'm not rich it's common sense. Not using the best SoC doesn't make sense in an expensive phone, which is what this will probably be. They're clearly trying to pull a fast one on oblivious managers. 😂

Why the Motorola badging though? I don't see Lenovo doing the same with their Legion Phone lineup.

SuperSpruce, 07 Jan 2023Couldn't have said it any better. When I think for bus... moreExactly. Never mind business and enterprise people, as even professional content creators never like to deal with wireless latency. That is why you still see professional video and audio production studios use wired headphones, as they still give way better quality than any wireless audio peripherals you can throw in.

JustSomeRandomGuy, 06 Jan 2023you couldn't be anymore further from the truth. I'... moreCouldn't have said it any better. When I think for businesspeople I think of reliability and minimal downtime, so I'd want a 3.5mm jack, a MicroSD slot, dual sim slots, a removable battery, and a great wireless modem. The sacrifice is that the phone would be thicker, but businesses would care about design if it sacrifices on functionality

I'm at the office using WIRED headsets and will continue to do so because all the points of my argument stands. you can't even challenge anything that I said. Business related equipment will always have such features. nice try, though.
btw, my personal phone does have a headphone jack. again, nice try.

JustSomeRandomGuy, 06 Jan 2023you couldn't be anymore further from the truth. I'... moreThis phone isn't targetted strictly towards businesses or employees to use as a work phone. This is more like a regular smartphone with a business theme running on it, and those who already own a thinkpad will find use for it, example I own a high end thinkpad laptop so I might interested in buying but it's also for general public. Lenovo just is hyping this up by positioning it like a business phone

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2023Businessmen hardly care about headphone jack and a SD card ... moreyou couldn't be anymore further from the truth. I've been in the corporate industry for over a decade. if there's anything managers, team leads and other business people really need is realibility. during a call from a client, a wired headset connection is the most realible form of communication. this is why contact centers, client comms and others still use WIRED headsets to this day. no one is going to need to fiddle with spotty BT connections or use BT only to find out their headsets are low on battery during an important client call.
so, you are absolutely incorrect. business people DO care about such features. Again, don't talk to me about something you clearly have no clue about.
