Recession is what the central banks and news agencies want and, Gods know why and try the darnest to bring it forth but thus far they failed. Maybe they'd achieve it if they continue increasing interest rates for.no.reason.at.all! And if they do IMO criminal charges should be brought to them for causing a recession that was not supposed to happen.

But yeah, this far the economy is resilient. No significant job losses , despite the big corps and central banks best attempts, no slowing of the GDP either (q4 looks to be as good as any quarter in 2021).

a yellow color and silver would have been welcome !

Demon Slayer, 06 Jan 2023Everyone knows that the new flagship always has worse color... moreIts the same concept as cars. Most popular car colors? The boring black/silver/white ones. Especially now with recession, muted colors would attract less attention. Many people with these flagships are professionals, and bold colors might not be desirable this time of the year. People who want something more can use cases

Also, Samsung is surely saving up a color for mid year refresh later.

TheAlienNextDoor, 06 Jan 2023In an age where people buy flagship phones just to flex and... moreThe gap between flagship and mid range Android is quite huge though. Any Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 and 7 series will always have inferior cores and GPU, even when compared to 2 or 3 gen older flagship Snapdragon 8 series.

The best value is kinda the S FE model, assuming that Samsung is still making that model. It offers flagship level hardware at high mid range price.

HighRes, but not so colorful 😁
But I don't really case, since I'll use a protective case anyway.

                        no rose gold color ?

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2023a drop in terms of color, I prefer its predecessor. Everyone knows that the new flagship always has worse colors than its predecessor
S23 has worse colors than the S22 which in turn has worse than the S21 which has worse than the S20 and so on...

Completely indifferent design-wise the same and the same completely lacking for something else design-wise in Samsung, Apple in recent years

Same design? Maybe. But bad? Not at all. Everything is ok with design. They just need to avoid Exynos and go for Snapdragon. I really enjoy One UI and my phone is just a midranger A52. Will wait for A55 or if lucky will buy a phone from S series. Plus version is good for me. Ordinary one is too small but ultra one too large and boxy.
