iOS and Android feel dated after you used a Windows Phone.

Nokia needs to let us know if this update addresses the shut down issue with the Lumia 920, where you cannot power on the phone normally again except with the use of the 'volume down+power key' combination.

what a crap phones, I bought 2 Lumias and had to return them both - it freezed all the time, it ran out of battery in half day and there was no apps in the market. I really liked the camera on the 920, byt the phone (I guess it was the OS) was pure shit. Unusable. :(

simple, 15 Mar 2013Can you please let us know what are all new you could find ... more@simple

The update announced itself OTA as a WIFI only update. Not sure of the size but over wifi it took at least 10 minutes. including it syncing my files (only about 3gb) the whole process was less than 15 minutes.

TBH I have not noticed any differences yet other than the fact that I then had another 15 updates (largely nokia apps) in the store.

I have only had this handset a week and not experienced any problems however after the update the ambient light sensor seemed to playing up. Since rebooting it seems ok.

Some of the system settings seem to have been slightly tweaked, eg the call waiting feature is now called "network +"

Nokia music seems to now be showing me my own music as well as their streaming stuff

Here Drive now has 2 and 3 D maps (not sure if that is new or not)

In settings, "Display and Touch" There is an option for super screen brightness in sunlight and a battery saving mode- not sure if they were already there.

Will update as I notice more

Most f dem are like kid type... Have used a symbian and i really miss it, purchased a s3 and resold it. Cr@p phone , my frind has a note 2 which is better then s3. Now have a 2nd hand htc now and i relly loved htc sense, htc has done justice to android imho. But i really miss symbians lanscape view , the awesum camera. And some other features.....windows is different just like android in its earlier days. And there is a dramatic hugechangeover then windows7 that i appreciate.....yes android has many gudapps and games thats why companieslike samsung are selling it more like an handheld gaming devices vid increasein core every year. . Which is i guess a waste of resources. And a gimmick to sell the products.... Sony and htc are on a verge of innovation and its gud to see that......android is nt a bad o.s but now it is slowly becoming a boring one.....

D K P, 16 Mar 2013You cannt do a lot of important thing: 1. cannot watch lot... moreyes windows 8 has issues, but let it evolve. I laughed over windows7 when it came out , but have used windows8 maself and iam sinmply blown away, its something different from android.... I wud luv if there are choices vid many o.s. Like firefox, b.b 10, sailfish meego, ubuntu etc. . Hope nokia and msft will overcome this issue....like android was not stable till jelly bean. . And i would love if other companies give choices as well ,like htc offering. . Nokia deserves a big round of applause for making the platform more known to masses. .yes elope scrapped symbian and meego and he will always regret it , but not considering android is also a welcome decision as now android seems a crowd. .even android has shorgcomings as well .......give windows 8 and Nokia some time......and we will see more innovations, similarly let htc and sony give some time for more innovation......so dont crib about shortcomings mate they will b sorted out
