That moment when you realize Apple took over a ignored concept of Nokia's, in order to make a revolutionary product that made an impact, even on every phone made today.

Nevertheless I find the Nokia 3510 a bigger revolution compared to the original iPhone

The worst product ever made in the history of humankind , without a shadow of a doubt !
Before this utter crap it was x-box 360 ! A product that if every single thing was opposite to how it was , would be the best product ever made ! I f*cking hate it with every atom of my being ! When you couldn't physically hate any product any more than this !
So is it crap ? No ! If you dont actually use it apart from tethering , it is the best mobile phone ever made ! Infinite examples available of every single thing it ever does or design and how terrible it is . Next someone will comment something about being the first touchscreen ! Anot her stolen idea , like there watch oxygen sensor #seenews

                > Love it or hate it, the iPhone has been one of the most influential products in the last couple of decades and has helped shape the mobile industry during that time.

That's why I don't wish happy birthday to iPhone. The day when "smartphones" and [[[social media]]] will die, I will buy most expensive champagne I can find locally and celebrate whole week.

Well even if he said it wrong... Billy Gates said that funny thing about RAM. Still, these guys made much more than people in forum fights, right? Early iPhones brought touchscreen revolution. Funny they try to be the last with the notch now! It must be these crazy teenage years, let them pass :)

Olympus Oms, 10 Jan 2023They did. Back then. 16 years ago. They 'did'. No... moreOh well if you say so I guess! But the actual fact remains that no he didn't say it and no it wasn't anywhere on the screen, unless you think Jobs and his team were stupid enough to both claim to have created the worlds first smartphone whilst criticizing existing smartphones all in the same presentation???

What was stated was that they were going to reinvent the phone with the revolutionary iPhone, and Jobs had a lot to say about how much smarter he wanted the audience to believe the iPhone was in terms of its software usability. Also some small feature firsts such as a 'multi-touch' and a truly desktop like browsing experience on a phone were mentioned.

Never was it claimed that the iPhone was the first smartphone though. But you are right the entire presentation is online, here is a link to it, maybe you can point out the time marking where as you say "Steve Jobs claimed it. He said it, the presentation wrote it on the screen."

Apple - scamming people for 16 years with that useless iPhone. Technology ALWAYS 5 year old. And somehow fooling people that their device is new, or innovative, or has a good battery, or is good.
And ALWAYS SUPER OVERPRICED! Yeas, Apple IS SMART!

Phones were interesting up until the iPhone launched, then they all just became rectangular pieces of glass.

Olympus Oms, 10 Jan 2023You must be 15 years old, and didn't watch their intro... moreSteve jobs NEVER did claim iPhone was the first smartphone. From what I can remember he even mentioned Nokia and Blackberry phone. The two things he recognised as a problem with BB and Nokia are 1) The UI and 2) The fact that they're a candy bar phones. Probably not word to word but all he said is that iPhone will revolutionize they way we see and use phones

Olympus Oms, 10 Jan 2023You must be 15 years old, and didn't watch their intro... moreNo they don't, they claim it revolutionized the phone (and by that they obviously mean smartphone). Never did they claim it to be the 'first smartphone' though, hell the original iPhone keynote directly references existing smartphone models, and how the iPhone improves on them.

So regardless of how old that other dude may be, what indeed were you watching????
