A minimal upgrade if you ask me.
It confirms the fact that one should wait 5 years between buying flagships.

SD card slot, I agree. A dirty move, they give no alternatives too. Same with easily replaceable batteries, which -btw- I think, the EU is gonna force them to re-include

One running TouchWiz (ormhowever they were calling their homebrew version of android) and another vanilla. And the vanilla version s4 was divine. Much better battery life, smoother, got support for an additional 3 years too IIRC.

Too bad they did not continue down that path. Giving such an option to consumers would have been ... divine.

Samsung isn't the biggest brand in the world because they don't know how to do software. They're better at Android than Google. Which obviously isn't a tough achievement as Google is a cancer to Android.

Aaaaand the vanilla S23s are metted stepmotherly treatment again -_-

Rectaconal shape with sharp edges is the stupidest and less user friendly design ever seen on a phone. Not sure why samsung is shooting their foot here.I will be sticking on my Galaxy s21 ultra until Samsung release similar shape ultra device for another year otherwise will be moving to different manufacturer.

meh after samsung ditched 3,5mm and sdcard slot i will never buy a flagship from them again

I'm sure it's gonna be a pretty good mobile, but damn I miss the beauty of S6-S7-S8-S9 :( these new S series are trying so hard to be as avarage looking (and those, boring) as possible to appeal to as many people as possible

I will hold judgement until release, but it sounds as if Samsung can no longer make true flagships with all the specs, they seem to be giving with one hand but taking away with the other, downgrading the selfie cam, lack of investment in the telephoto, as well as average low quality ultrawide and telephoto, not sure why companies seem to like doing this and when are samsung going to get on board as the first mainstream company(outside of the Asian market) to produce a 1" sensor?
