For all the things samsung does including the galaxy a74? Samsung might lose alot of bizz coss of cut corners on the midrange phone as well !!

Hardware is usualy better than updates thus software.
Phones with good hardware can last years.
Not everybody is updating their phone on daiyl basis.
Some adults of age of 50+ use their phone for most basic tasks.

Some other midrangers starts at 8GB ram not virtual memory.
Its simply amazing where phones got in past 10 years.

From galaxy a 52 n 52s it is a big down grade wich is a huge cut corners on galaxy a53 n beyond that point coss no qualcomm snapdragon n no headphone jack with no charger? How worse can it gets rather then quality instead of quanity talks samsung yall?

As long as you get a decent phone you won't face lags but you will be amazed when you phone gets faster instead of slowing down.

those old phones with old android version, those that no longer getting any updates, how common we hearing people getting security problem / hacked ? (aside user fault obviously)
in-time there are high-risk issue, usually there will security-patch/updates, such like back few months ago with S/Note8
beside most security problems is usually from broken apps, so as long we can update apps that we use, i think most of time it should be good enough.
and human made is never perfect anyway, u patch an issue, there will be another issues to fix/patch
for many users, what important is the phone stable and smooth, not updates that slowing-down the performance

Considering that there won't be A7X anymore, the A54 should have a minimum of 8GB ram and 256GB storage to be an actual upgrade over predecessor but alas, it won't.

I've u... moreMan havent had realme phone yet but my Xiaomi iMi 11 lite i have since last week of july 2021 s wiorking perfectly, my Moto X4 working for me for 4 years and now is still perfectly working gave it to my best friend daughter when she finnished basic school as a gift. Since i always using leather book case and propper 5D 9H screen protector phone was in like a brand new condition even now is 5 years old.
My old lenovo Vibeshot from summer of 2015 still perfectly working anopther friend of mine got it when his old samsung died.
Know several other friends wh have Nokia ad some other phones they are amazing.
Can say same abbout samsung.
Another of my friend wo working as taxidriver he sold his M12 after a half year due to celular data problems and bad connectivity in our capitol city bratislava here in Slovakia.
Now he have A22 5G phones does its work lot better but still have some small issues.
Anyway pure android eexoperience always beats Samsung UI because its less cpu and ram hungry also cost much less disk space.

Nobody will unless they only call and speak. For Ryzen you may be lucky but if you read news many issues happen with Ryzen unless you still use windows 10.

Yes updates are important.
No knowing many people with even old phones with removable batteries just like Samsung S5, S4 Motorola E4 and many else old phone like Z3 from Sony etc and phones perfectly working.
My now 8 years old Lenovo Vibeshot i gave to a friend long time ago when his phone died still working with no issues.
Updates and security once they have nothing to rob you you dont need to worry.
