I know sarcastically the person who pay more for the ultra gets more phone (physically a bigger phone).
But if someone like me want to have the capabilities of the Ultra in the smallest variant then there is no such option in the field of Android, which is shame.
And of course the screen resolution, battery size etc. can be smaller, but these does not matter. But who needs 4K/UHD resolution on a phone? No one can tell the difference without a decent magnifier.
What matters: Camera, processor, RAM and storage, IP certificate... And these are almost there in the smaller models (eg in the Galaxy S22) except for the camera. Which is one of the most important, if not the most important feature of a phone today.
And based on the previous weekly poll there is definitely a need for smaller sized Ultra/Pro models. almost 50% of the participants, has voted for phones with 6.1inch screen or even less. I have not bought a phone in more than 7 years, because the new "flagships" are ill-designed and impractical. (I have almost bought the iPhone 14 Pro, because the HW capabilites are comparable to the Android "Ultra" phones, but a few month prior I have got a company mobilephone, which is an iPhone SE and in this few month iOS made a very bad impression on me. It is garbage.)

So it is a fair comparison. And there is nothing compared to the "Pro" models on the Android side... The only problem with them is iOS... I have a company iPhone and iOS feels very rigid and restricted in knowledge after ~10 years of Android usage. Android is way superior in fields of customization and possibilities.

The s22+ was the best of last years line and the most under promoted. Hence why im sticking with the + model. Cant stand the design for the ultra. Sharp corners is a terrible design and makes for impossible game play sideways without digging in. Further on the ultra whyyyy a curved screen just why. More sticking out to break. Even my partner got the s22 ultra and is trading it for the plus this year because he said the design is aweful. Again stop using a design from the note 10 series and make a larger + model with a pen and you would sell alot more. Battery increase on the s23+ has me excited can always use more battery even though i get through a full day now.

will only comment on s23 only after i get the physical phone not on a visual phone.
samsung keeps getting better with new model and i hope they wont disappoint with s23 too.

I used over 8 years Huawei and was very happy with their performance - last one P20 Pro.
However, last June as couldn't find any longer Huawei with Google services, I was thrilled to move to S22 Ultra due to its marketing and parameters.
Very astonished by its crashing sporadically time after time. At least once per month it crashes in the middle of conversations. I will have to wait for its updates, but no way to move to any Samsung S23...
If not Huawei yet available, OPPO or One+ certainly for check

Unfortunately most of commentators here is living in echo chamber. Wake up guys and try to be objective as you can. That's the only way you can be helpful to others. If you're not sure or don't know what is a echo chamber, google it. The same advice as for other things you don't know for sure. Just use google and find the right answer. It's not that hard.
