Anonymous, 17 Mar 2013and will sammy boys have any 1080p apps or you will just br... moreyeah and the iphone is 6 months old and selling at a highly inflated price, this is the NEW galaxy S4, it will be expensive at launch, but the price will drop after a few months, the iphone is dated now as all the new htc sony and samsung products outweigh it in every way, to suggest its overpriced is naive when comparing to iphone, 1080p films from blu ray rips will look astounding, as do even 720p on s3, also highend gaming will look very sharp, i know ur critisizing galaxy now but when the next iphone comes out with 1080p u will be saying its revolutionary, get a grip

Lol at Samsung 'innovation'. Wonder how Android feels now that they even copycat existing technologies and market it as their own. Also, don't people prefer better materials than cheap plastic for €700?

eyetracking just doesnt adds up for 700euros.
i have an idea that is way more practical than
eyetracking. they could of made the phone completely super hydrophobic or rethink their touchwiz with has very static icons..its anoying how static they are...well the touchwiz thing is just a personal taste so..
Sony Xperia Z and HTC one doesnt have an old desing.
they have an classic(classic doesn't always mean old) desing with little details that make the phones look modern.
i dont want to defend the competition of S4, i will never go with a phone bigger than 4.3inch screen.
i will soon buy an Nokia N9.

nice phone great tech, iam happy with my Nexus S smartphone does everything i ask of it.
looking forward to the new operating systems later this year for something "new"

What does htc and iphone bring? better design quality? that's it? that's not innovation. The iphone has the same design for the last 4 years.
At least samsung offers choice for removable battery and micro sd card.

That's a difference of €599-$579 = €150 = $200 between the EU and US version. A lot. And a US version imported to the EU likely doesn't support EU LTE frequencies. Samsung should use the Krait/Adreno combo instead of Exynos/PowerVR also in the EU to get a lower price as in the US.

lets say someone on Europe makes by average 30% more than someone from USA, on perspective, they have 30% more money to spend on electronics, therefore it seems logical for a company like samsung to increase the price on their products for Europeans, because they will still buy them and they'll get more money, after all they are a company

i remmember a time when samsung would sell stronger and faster phones at almost two thirds of the price of the iphone with was weaker...
they ask 700euros for a cheap-feeling peace of plastic with briliant hardware...
samsung is not inovating anymore. not even its design with is one of the simplest things to do.
samsung will not be the hottest thing in town if they do not change this strategy fast. best case scenario is that samsung will stagnate(with would be an impressive thing to do considering their android market-share) in the next 2 years.
it happened before: nokia, iphone, motorola, sony ericsson...

Amazon germany has the best prices. I live in another country but i buy from amazon germany, they ship to all european countries.

here in Scandenavia it's cheaper than both HTC one and Sony Experia Z! that's one of the reasons Samsung sells more, even though they provide top-notch hardware (and lately some software innovations as well)!
