Confirmed: HTC One not coming to Verizon in the USA

Although the post was abt unavailablity on Verizon but there are many people comparing one with S4
Well if u think that buying s4 as it will sell in huge nos is good thing and someone's gonna award u for that then u are mistaken just into another marketing trap by Samsung who spends more on marketing than on r&d.(in last few months they have spent almost 12 billion in marketing).
Mind half of those feature already have an app on play store so let me warn u , u are not holding anything unique..well give two amps and that rich output from s4...those speaker and sides truely matches galaxy ace

Sola doesn't have so-called Air Gesture because it doesn't have front facing camera. Instead, Sola has Samsung-called Air View, namely Floating Touch. Sony has also published how it works down to the hardware part, and released the API so app developers can make use of this functionality.
Air View is an implementation of Floating Touch technology. Air View on Galaxy S4 is a good thing, many app developers can now be happy because they can use hover event without worrying that nobody would use the app, you know, because of the S4's extreme popularity.
No one here tried to compare S4 with Sola. It's also good when a technology implemented in more than just one brand. The thing is, claiming the implementation as the "innovation" just doesn't sound right. Samsung doesn't do this, it's just the fanboys.
Anyway, somehow I feel that Sony has granted Samsung a license for this one. It's fair played.

Proud owner of two HTC devices.... Currently using evo 3d ....both my wife and I will be purchasing the one...this phone is more than a phone. Its a powerful piece of art. Can't wait to finally upgrade my evo and my wife crappy Samsung nexus s 4g.

If you don't know about this then don't comment .. Sola doesn't have that sensor which can recognize fingers 1cm above screen. And air gesture that uses camera.. I never saw haters saying about sola for the note 2 for air view and now they say for s4..so much butt hurt... Know the difference between air view and air gesture.. And are you saying now s4 is comparable with sola? Who will buy sola over s4?

HTC does not has good marketing strategy. The product naming sucks!
It does not has a killer sub brand like other makers do such as GALAXY, LUMIA, NEXUS, OPTIMUS, XPERIA, iPhone.....etc.
Too many overlapping flagship products less than a year such as HTC ONE vs HTC Butterfly causing more confusion to the consumers instead making high impact.
Associated Beats Electronic (the overpriced but underperforming products) to HTC is another big mistake!

to be fair its better in terms of processor power.. but thats only on papers who know how it'll work in real life.
back to the topic when HTC will do a thing in a proper way?

If you put the S3 or One face down against the XZ, the main difference is the rounded corners, more correctly the edges of the corners otherwise they are pretty much the same in size. The HTC One does feel thinner than the specs because of the chamfered edges though. It is absolutely gorgeous in the metal.
