I agree some people live in miserable situations (Africa, some Middle East countries), but that is not Apple's fault or anyone on this page.
Calling for your "equality" is the nonsense commie people love to preach about, but its more about making everyone equally miserable rather than rich.
There's more to that than what can be said here, but to keep it short: Equality is not the solution. That will just make matters worse for everyone.

And can anyone explain why he has taken such a cut? is it due to lower then expected profits/earnings? and why the other execs don't have their earnings cut? obscene amounts of money regardless, but then again there is no justification for any company charging £1200/$1200 for a smartphone when they cost around $450 to build and develop, purely for greed purposes

Also apple will leave no chance to extract more and more money out of their buyers. Money seems to be the only thing they're after. Affordability hasn't got anything to do there, a lot of people that buy iphones are paying monthly installments which of course anyone can. I have tried iPhone in the past and tbh didn't like it. But that was long ago. I will however stick to Android because of being used to it. Currently on a moto phone but will be Samsung for next phone
