I got a security update yesterday. Battery backup could be improved. In my case there's a 1 percent drop for every 4 minutes. I'm not even doing heavy tasks. And yesterday I had 94 percent charge on my phone and when I woke up today morning it was like 90 percent. Standby time could also be improved.

Kev, 14 Jan 2023Samsung has 300,000 employees, a few thousand of which are ... moreYou give too much credit for a brand that only have one phone, with 500+ employees as you stated, and can't deliver stable Android 13. It's literally one phone and they can't make it stable enough.

A Nothing phone once, a nothing phone forever...
A real nothing this phone, a banal phone, they put some LEDs on the back and "we are going to revolutionize the world of cell phones", I don't see anyone with Nothing Phone, a real failure.

Totally agree with the complains made from people. I have the nothing 1 as spare phone, using it randomly mostly at home .I'm using the unbeatable s21+ for an year. But i have to say that even tho the galaxy been perfect and it is still now,the nothing phone is such a nice phone. Not perfect but the os is clean, different and definely appealing and Much better than pixel os to me. Now with android 13 is smoother and quite fast ,a very cool os especially with its red wallpaper, speakers work good, its open to custom ROMs and battery does good numbers too. I have tried many phones in the last few months, trying to replace my galaxy, like OnePlus 9pro,Oppo reno 8 pro, pixel 7 pro, pixel 6a, Vivo x80 pro but they were lacking in something that I couldn't accept at all like form factor or battery performance . When I first got this nothing I been impressed about its quality overall and loved it straight away This is my taste indeed but this phone is cool to me and it s being updated enough. I don't think they sold so many phones at this stage. So I hope they LL have enough funds to carry on this project tho

I've a feeling that the slow updates and still being on beta are results of Nothing being lazy. But hey atleast it's not Realme who still can't figure out how to code a proper RAM management.

Meanwhile me on my A52s 5G with basically the same specs (some things are better, some are worse) with Android 13 since November/December and for much less money (~260€/$).

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2023What? Only one phone and they can't even upgrade it on time?Samsung has 300,000 employees, a few thousand of which are probably dedicated to software.

Nothing has 500 employees, with maybe a few more hundred on loan.

Considering Nothing is promising four years of updates with their manpower, it's beyond the call of duty for the sheer lack of employees they have. Sony has 5,000 employees (Way more software developers than Nothing) and even they're promising fewer software updates than Nothing.

Even Samsung is updating their phones faster than them, they have tons of phones and they are usually very slow.

Nothing's CEO is an overconfident condescending leaderI don't want their company to fail but I am very disappointed.

                            Epic Fail so Far.

CargoJoe, 14 Jan 2023They're not a big enough company to have a full Androi... moreNothing fans still using the same old excuse. You wanna know why Nothing is heavily criticised for the slow update? Here's the reasons:-

                                    1) Nothing has been established for more than 2 years, so not really a new company anymore,
                                    2) Nothing's UI is almost stock, so should be much simpler for beta testing,
                                    3) and the biggest reason, there is only ONE MODEL to support.
