here we go again... i commented on the midrange affordable handset coz of the useless rants that i was seeing.
ill start off with the markets issue.
Don't expect every phone thatis released to be one that would be competing in the smart phone arena. The Nokia arte line is targeted to people who wouldn't mind midrange specs for the quality and looks of the phone. Aimed at higher middle class because of the pricing, as i repeat again this isnt a smartphone, don't expect it to come into the N96, Omnia, TouchDiamond etc market. Leave these phones alone. I find it hilarious, all of you seem to think that every phone that comes out is aimed at the extreme highend smartfone market.
Their are other people that have to be catered too u know.

I wonder what would happen if all phones cost have 8mps, 8GB++ internal harddisks, fm transmitter and all the full load fo every feature you could ever think of. I bet one would yell out where's the xenon flash. What would other people use ay? People who can't afford them. Welcome to the world of phone manufacturer monopolies and cartels!

really unique phone.
would have been muuch better if the battery life was good.
It is expensive but its worth it if u have a lot of money

its a frigging phone £900 is a joke it will be out of fashion in a few months,you can get three laptops for the price of this and if you buy it youve more money than sense...

its not the N series Nor express music , so don't expect a great cam, music its, this is a limited edition phone enterally focusing on the people with lost cash, and style minded , the people who wear rings for $ 25000, who own cars coast $ 300000 , my self and all the others who comment here feels , its expensive , but it never focus on us , its N , E & S40 devices lining up for us .

Looks a Superb Handset from Nokia but i bet loads of people will like this mobile but the only trouble is nowdays with the money recession not far away they can"t afford to buy it,Nokia better be aware nowdays these mobiles are way to expensive an couldn"t they make a cheaper version to get the Arte well spread,i thought Nokia might have put a top class 5 mega-pixel camera on this mobile an get the people who can afford it dying toget it

Put the price completely out of the equation & what you are left with is an averagely specced handset (in this day & age) shrouded in an out of date design, using an alternative material to it's previous incarnation. Carbon fibre isn't exactly a new material either, so why are there only parts of the handset made from it rather than having the entire casing moulded from the stuff? Now that may have been worthy of being called art!

I see a lot of people complain about this phone. If it is not for you, do not make such comments. It is a peace of art with decent spechs. If I want a "unic phone" style, I do not prefer to make my gold iPhone. I was waiting for something like 8800 carbon arte already. Good job nokia!
