In case of Samsung tons f bloatware and super slow charging makes all foldables worse than beta. Maybe a Pre-Beta or so. Third grade device.

that will only happen if they slash the prices by 75% by Q4, so they can claim its success in their annual meeting

The foldable market will be dead within 3 years. This is a gimmick and people will get bored with it. Remember 3D TVs? Or curved TVs..?

"...other makers like Xiaomi, Oppo, and vivo are selling their devices in only in China and in limited quantities."

I call bull on that unverified statement. The Chinese brands are, at best, sending samples to influencers but they are clearly incapable of mass-producing anything.

Samsung may sold 82% of all foldable phones in 2023, but has almost 100% total marketshare of foldable screen, because xiaomi, bbk (oppo, vivo), and google all are using Samsung display and samsung hinge technology.

I saw like 3 to 5 foldable devices in the wild here in São Paulo. Too expensive for the average brazilian.

Dealers are having a hard time selling to them. Here at our town galaxy flip 4 is retailing at $450 down from $900

Anyway Tablet Is Better For Me Now, Foldable Phones Are Still In Their Beta Version.

I recently went hands-on with a foldable. The plastic screen felt like trash. It's baffling that consumers are willing to pay top dollar for that.

sent!! part of those 18 million is surely in the warehouses collecting dust!
