Sin, 17 Jan 2023Am unhappy about the downgrades in hardware and sidegrades ... more165Hz display is over kill as nothing on Android uses that high of a refresh. It is even hard to find apps that support 120Hz. As for RAM, the LPDDR5X variant comes in different size configurations so the extra 2gb is not easily achieved like the previous generation of RAM.

I had the phone for over a week and it had some bugs at first but after the latest software update everything seems to be fine. I love the phone, it performs grate in every situation and the battery life is amazing

I'd get rid of the selfie cam all together a i barely even need it.
Refresh rate is enough as human eye actually is under that.
Not everything is about the specs...heck i know some that say a phone is garbage if it doesn't have an IP rating that you wont actually need and even though the phone has one no manufacturer give it guarantee if water damages the device. Heck i just opened an IP rated smart watch that had liquid damage and nope the warranty wont cover it

Which sucks because I really like the phone. But literally the other day I checked what band my phone was using while I was at work and it was 71. Which the Red Magic 8 doesn't have.

They work plenty well on at&t. I'm using it to type this. Red magic on at&t.

A feature which ine day 6 years ago caused my wallet to dry and noone helped me.
Only my bank called me and had to tell me they sending e new card my old one was raped and my account were drained to zero.
Since then i never used NFC even i had phones with this feature.
Rather will draw and swipe my card than risk another robbery via phone.

Am unhappy about the downgrades in hardware and sidegrades are not good way too upgrading too new Nubia red magic gaming phone
Only 16gb ram ( 18gb ram last year's modal had)
Yes this years ram is faster but smaller ram amount is just not nice
Poor selfie camera Under screen camera is bad for camera quality
Screen is only 120hz also
( Year's years modal had more hand room and camera in the bezels so it doesn't interface with the screen also this allowed them too have 165hz screen last year's)
Not sure what else too say at least the price is better but I prefer last year's modals better design choices in in some ways even better hardware spec's where made on the older modals
