omg! galaxy s2 still gonna get its 3rd major update?

Feel sorry for s2+ owners thinking a new device would be supported longer but 4.1.2 -4.2.2 and thats it?! Glad the 9100 will get one final update, that phone and the note helped make samsung what they are today, the market leaders. I'll probably have another samsung unless the next nexus is as competitively priced as the nexus 4 but without the availability problems.
All the people that are complaining about updates stopping, you guys do realise that the phone won't suddenly stop working just because it's not on the latest version of Android right?

straja serbia, 18 Mar 2013dont lie. I run ICS Official on my Note and soon its coming... moreok im running official 4.1.2 a month now ans it depends om your carriers to input their bloat ,but i prefer custom roms for my note

This is the reason why, i am fed-up with HTC now, especially when i saw sgs2 received JellyBean whereas my HTC Sensation was kept to ICS by HTC, helped me decide, which will be my next device, and i'll wait for siv's price to reduce...and in future i'll keep upgrading with samsung phones only!! HTC: had you updated older devices, i and other hundreds of people i saw on xda wouldn't have shifted to s3 from Sensation.
