Disappointing to see the Snapdragon 695 used in 2023
There are only two alternatives for OnePlus to do
* Rename the phone to OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. (or)
* Change the chipset to a Dimensity 1080 and slap an Amoled display.
In my opinion OnePlus should rebrand the Realme 10 Pro as Nord CE 3 Lite and Realme 10 Pro+ as OnePlus Nord CE 3

It should be great phone if it will come with good main cam and good support cameeras.
Since ts comming with 2 very useless peices of crap disguised as support camera its worse than bad.

4+4 cluster will use more power compare to 2+6 if all use same manufacturing process, and has same cpu core to this case both have cortex A78 and A55.
If you really care about consumer there are plenty of soc out there with cortex A53 some even in sub $200, other soc use cortex A73 (sd 680), cortex A75 (G80, 85, 88, T606 etc) A76 (D700, D810, G96, G99, T7xx series etc)
But you wont find people criticizing much, but when it come to sd 695 which is most advanced sub 200 soc lot of people like you will criticise it, and you have zero alternative soc at this price point with same perfomance.

Its 2 year old and should ... morethe fact that no single oem use sd 778G for $200 phones shows that its not that cheap, if you ignore 4k recording sd 695 is capable soc, you get best perfomance in its class and best battery life. until sd 6 gen 1 phones (and exynos 1330) come out its best soc you can get.

Someone needs to vandalize Qualcomm factories and warehouses and destroy all Sd695 units and designs so that this garbage of a chipset can't be used or even manufactured anymore and they're forced to use 778g. Existence of this 695 is the sole reason why 778g isn't used by those greedy, evil oems.
Some many phones which otherwise would be worth buying are made unworthy due to 695.
Same needs to be done with 6 gen 1 lest they start using this garbage instead.
In fact they should do away with 600 series entirely. It's used to handicap otherwise good midrange phones.

I find it amusing how the older Dimensity Helio G90T can shoot at 4k 30fps while SD695 can't, i wonder how a newer soc is unable to do so when it's actually more than capable technically speaking

It's already 2023 why there are smartphones that still launch with trash Snapdragon 695, the whole midrange/low end phone become trash because of the 685.

This is actually what the general public wants, to the point that there are shops selling fake attachments to fake out extra lenses for your older phone. Phone has become status symbol, and people want to pretend their phone is more "expensive" than what it is, thus the easiest way is to show that the phone has multiple lenses.
Search online and there are a lot of fake camera covers for older iphones that add 2 fake lenses so people think you have the Pro iphone. It's the reality of the wirld, people are shallow.
