Sony announces 13 more launch titles for the PlayStation VR2, the total is now over 30

Some games are new, others are free updates for existing PS5 and original PSVR games.

    I have Quest 2 and i can connect it to pc wirelessly, this psvr2 has cord and needs ps5 to work at all, Quest 2 can work without a pc but can be used as pcvr headset.

    I am waiting for Quest 3(coming later this year) which could be huge upgrade and still cheaper than this(even without ps5 to added to price).

    If Sony could make wireless version i could be persuaded to actually buy ps5(probably pro model which will come i am sure).

True. I still think that investing thousands of dollars/euros to play video games is ridiculous (and I say this as someone who enjoys playing video games)

          The meta quest pro is $1.500.

          This is $550.

          Yes, you need a ps5, but you'd need a pc for the previously mentioned ones.

          As for the concerns about power usage. The ps5 uses 200 watts. If this doubles your households energy bill then you're not using any electricity...

          As for launch titles. A launch title is a game that is available at launch. It doesn't matter if that is an update for an older title.

          Psvr1 for PS4, launched with 28 games, and was a successful vr headset.

                The PS5 is very expensive and still quite hard to find in several markets. Add this other super expensive monstrosity, the mandatory PS+ subscription (or whatever is called now), the need for a super fast connection and also the fact that the PS5 makes your electricity bill double and the end result is that you need to sell your kidney to play one of those 30 games.

                  that's nice, but why is this being posted on GSM arena? i thought GSM arena was for tech news concerning smartphones and tablets, and last i checked, play station made video game consoles, not smartphones and tablets. GSM arena needs to stop reporting on these topics, this is a forum to discuss smartphones and tablets, not video games.

                      So launch titles for Sony means games that have been out forever?

                      No Man's Sky has had VR support for like 4-5 years now

                        Paying 550€ for a PS5 and 550€ for a VR that has Trash Games

                            It's still a flop, only 7% attachment rate to PS5 owners. Until there are AAA VR ONLY games that everyone wants it will still be a niche thing with cheap indie games or VR mode's tacked on to existing major titles.
