                A40 was compact then A41 went a bit bigger and then A42 went to the size of the rest of the A series as a large screen phone so it lost it's point.

                It's probably why they end the A4x series with 42 as the phone didn't sell probably a lot to make upgrades on them. Well there is no point to go with A4x series if it's same as A2x and A3x and in a similar price range also.

                I would go with A4 series if they would be in the size as 40 or 41

                  It's one of these dumb titles like 5000mAh battery to mention like thats something special. Same with this 25W charging that is like standard speed on these Samsung phones by now.

In contrast to the mid rangers, competition is really tough and crowded, and Samsung has to push their pricing and cost. As such, more consideration to use their own Exynos chip to save cost.
